When a dream home becomes a nightmare.
Jeff and Alex have just purchased their first property to flip, but to save costs they decide to get a third party to renovate the property with the promise of payment after the house sells. They find Nate, and he seems like a godsend. But when Nate and Alex begin to bond over the remodel, a wedge is driven between her and Jeff. But the couple soon realizes that Nate has sinister intentions, and they must defend both their property and their lives.

Every lifetime movie has the same RECIPE. Casts one black person as a BEST friend or in a high positionsuch as a cop or lawyer, detective or judge. Predictable monotonous storyline with the same ending--The victims fight the villain but never bad enough to kill or maim them from one last SURPRISE attack .. The villain escapes to repeat his crime with a new unsuspecting family .roll credits.

It was oddly watchable, in a bad Lifetime movie kind of way, but Dominique Swain was terrible. Seriously, she still acts as if she's the tempestuous teenage star of Lolita, which was 20 years ago. She needs to grow up.

the movie wasn't bad. nothing spectacular, the "twists" were pretty easy to see coming. pretty basic horror movie though, and it wasn't bad. this trailer, however.... awful. maybe try not spoiling the entire movie next time? this is why I never watch trailers, honestly. "jeff and alex are gonna flip a house. plot twist, dude's a killer. but look, we're gonna show you right here that despite the fact that he does kill someone, clearly it's neither of the main characters because they call the cops in the end and make it out alive." .....so, I just watched the entire movie again in one minute.

Dominique Swain looks old as hell for her age. She was 34 when she made this movie (she just turned 35 a few weeks ago, judging by Wikipedia) and she looks really bad. She must be a chain smoker or spend too much time in the sun with no spf.
