For that ASN.1 decoding of paging msg should happen in RRC layer. There will be an IE called pagingRecordList (list of UE IDs) inside PCCH/Paging msg. If your UE ID is present in the list, then the paging msg is for you. Else, keep acquiring the consecutive PDCCH and PDSCH -> decode -> check for your UE.

Grt info but can you explain how UE will know paging is for me ? Any particular IE or simply say what pdsch carries inside data region ?
But the P-RNTI is same for all UE FFFE then how the specific UE come to know this is my paging, could be S-TMSI.
Please let me know if i am wrong.

What are the actual paging contents that arrive on PDSCH ? Do these contents define if a paged UE has incoming data packets or not ? Thank you
