I'm so glad you're covering this, one of my top 3 favourite games of all time, gives me so much memories especially with my dad, same with Fallout 3, I miss him
Same man my growing up in school time was just coming home to play fallout three and oblivion for hours on end every day still have a PS3 and both games to this day I play
Still a beautiful looking game with an interesting landscape to explore (worth overlooking the uncanny valley face zooms on NPCs that all have the same few voice actors)
@@iLLBiLLsRoastBeatsit's not but big ups to Xbox for being the only platform besides pc that can actually run any of the old stuff. Runs morowind and the 360 fallout games great too.
Just finished most of Oblivion. Really fun game! Please do a video on Shivering Isles secrets... That dlc is hilarious, you can tell the writers had a lot of fun making it.
I've played the game a number of times but only in 2 games I came upon this. A herd of wild horses -- over 8 maybe -- racing along on the other side of the river from the waterfront. Wild horses with no saddle on them. One of the times a mounted Legion guy was riding along side of them like he was in some kind of horse version of a cattle drive, haha.
How have I only realised now, after hundreds if not thousands of hours pumped into this game, that the way it zooms out from the word 'Oblivion' highlights the IV to show it's the 4th elder scrolls. I'm some gobshite
A secret I found when doing my most recent playthrough was a skeleton with an almost alien like shaped skull, the back of its skull had a huge bulge that was about 3 times the size of the front of the skull It was laying half buried at the bottom of a small pond behind Kvatch in an area where most players wouldn’t go as there aren’t really any map markers right behind that city
Over the last 10 years ive only put about 150 hours on the pc version and so i didnt really know about any of these little secrets. Its amazing to see how much love was really put into the game though. Thanks for this though. It was definitely worth a watch.
I find the primrose guy sad, instead of creepy. I see it as a guy, unsure or shy in himself to approach someone he likes so he sends a letter (I may be wrong here, but in Japan, youngsters who like each other send letters of affection). The lady see's the guy after reading the letter, rejects or ignores him entirely and then, heart broken he flung himself into the lake.
I remember there being a well in one of the cities (forgive me for not remembering the name), and at the bottom you could find a corpse with a ring you can loot. The ring is incredibly heavy, this causing the person wearing it, to drown. Not sure if anyone encountered this one.
It was a part of the quest to get admittance to the Imperial University. The guild hall leader sent you down to get the ring with the intention of you drowning like the person you find the ring on did. I think it was in Cheydinhal.
Do you know where the Hatreds soul bow is? That would be a good one to show your subscribers. The amount of hours I put into this game is embarrassing!
There is also a secret in Kvatch, you will find the head of Jiub Opus from elder scrolls III in one of the burned down homes. Its not interactable but the fact that it is Jiub is confirmed by Jiub himself in elder scrolls V.
The tragedy!!! Find a friend with a disc drive, copy the disc to ISO, copy the iso to usb drive, load it up on your computer. I just finished oblivion and honestly prefer it to Skyrim. Especially shivering isles dlc.
I'm pretty sure there's a sort of ghost lurking about green emperor way. One time I was there quite early so instead of waiting in game until noon, I simply waited in real life facing the tomb to show the map. As the image on screen was still, I saw a silhouette pass, a human shape was walking away, it was like a 100% chameleon spell but even more subtle. Just so you can kinda distinguish it from the surroundings and only if you look hard enough. It didn't show a name and I couldn't interact with it. I followed it for about half a minute until I finally lost it, blended in with the environment. Never seen or heard anyone encounter it and I was never able to see it again.
You can just enchant a cheap ring with water breathing. Night vision doesn't look that good. If you want to see in a cave and not keep messing with torches then enchant a shield or something with the Light spell.
I miss the game! With proper technique? You could create a character that could cast a single fireball, and destroy an entire city! Without any hacks! 👍
You missed the 3 goats that lead you to the bridge with the troll under it amongst many other details surrounding the other entries. The Argonian at the fight club has a unique cuirass, Fingleam is actually a quest rewarrd for a treasure hunt you never found the quest giver for.

Lucky you had a gamer dad mine was the opposite didn’t even know how to use a computer mouse but I enjoyed my time with him regardless
Same man my growing up in school time was just coming home to play fallout three and oblivion for hours on end every day still have a PS3 and both games to this day I play
Oblivion is a significant play in my childhood
I don’t care if it’s just nostalgia, this game makes me feel at home. Hopefully you and your dad can live the game in your next life
@@Cobranite2628 It's not nostalgia, it's greatness.
Seeing that title screen almost brings a tear to my eye and no one around me understands lol but you guys understand ❤️
Bruh this bot
But ye

But let's admit, the voice acting was some of the best in the series
The voice actors were the best!
Looks and runs great at 60fps on series X but I’m guessing that isn’t shit to pc gamers

Man I forgot about Fin Gleam. I somehow found it on my own back in the day when I was just exploring. It was such a rewarding experience.

The best secret channel in existence. I did not know about the giant mudcrab
I've been looking for unique enemies for so long
There is also a giant slaughterfish in the Bravil Wizard's Grotto.
Ive put like 4000 hours into this game over the years and I still learned something! Great video

Another thing, the map isnt the same as the in game one

Oblivion is my favorite elder scrolls by far

I found that prim rose letter in a desk while stealing for the thieves guild
woah, fizhy making oblivion vids now ? Hell yeah, man keep 'em coming and I'll keep watching

Vidkun, it was a mages college quest. Only remember cause it had that guy with a face that looked like mash potato

I had no knowledge of any of this 🤯
TES IV has some jank and some outdated technical stuff (UI and FOV) but the world certainly has its charms.
Thank for this birthday present!
Everyone knows these. But anything Oblivion is good.
Love oblivion me and my millennial cousin nerd out over oblivion almost every thanksgiving

Dude i had no idea about the voice blooper 🤣
This video is very helpful 👍
Great video
Hi Fizhy I hope you're well. Would you please show us 10 secret Skyrim too?! Thanks ❤️😍
Oblivion fo3 and fonv are probably Bethesda’s best games.. mostly because they haven’t really touched em since their release.. thank god.
2:14 Hey, what are you doing..!?!?.. Rule Nr. 1 : You do not talk about fight club.
I bought oblivion after Skyrim and still have the disc without any means to play it...due to many laptops not having a disc drive...

there's actually several other voice acting mistakes in oblivion, although their not as bad as the thieves guild one
The deadliest rat is Gavin
How did you know when I would watch this!?
Oh hell yeah
