modding just brings a whole new level of content to the game. content that can literally prolong a games lifetime. it’s cool seeing games like starfield that launch with mod tools, (even tho the mods for Bethesda games are cursed at times) we need more games like that. also thank you for the very kind words on my mod,
For sure man. Keep up the good work on it :). Sorry I don't show up as much to the Halo playgroups / cover mods as much but I still think your guys work is sick!
Modding is part of the reason why PC gaming is as good as it is. Im so glad i got into modding. I can't wait for the Halo Mods Showcase in November, both to show off what ive been working on and to see what others have been working on.
Im surprised the big studios didnt see how big of a cashcow skyrim still is today because of modding, obviously im kinda glad because out of touch ceos and marketing teams would fuck it up but damn its like they don't even know what players like and why people play games...
Funny how Riot pulled the ladder up underneath them by shutting down *TWO* separate unrelated private servers, Leaguesandbox & the Chronoshift Project. Why? Because people wanted to play old league ala wow classic & mod it. And most league players do not even know they existed.
@@ArrrashThe Leaguesandbox project thankfully was open source so the code for that is still out there and definitely could be finished, it's just that's its in a state where it needs A HUGE amount of work done to be finished.
Need some of those Halo mods to be playable on Xbox. Let 343 review them and ensure they’re safe/stable and have an officially endorsed mod pool that Xbox players can download.
While I loved to see that. I don't think this will give you the experience your expecting. Because an "officially endorsed mod pool" would mean that mods that use copyrighted content would not be allowed. This means big mods like: Cursed Halo, Halo Craft, Star Wars Battlefront Mod Pack, Metroid Prime 2 Map Pack, etc. Won't be on Xbox.
Until that modding, at least for aggregation sites, doesn't want you to mod certain things out because you disagree with, and i'll quote Critical Drinker here, "THE MESSAGE" for "M O D E R N A U D I E N C E S" then they delist your mod, and ban you.
Thanks to everyone who watched the video! Consider checking out my patreon if you want to support the channel :)

Imagine if Nintendo actually allowed and encouraged mod support...

UGC/Modding is definitely super important for Halo

Without modding most games for me would be more dull. Example, sm64 halo mcc and fallout 😊😊
