Ripping up the beautiful tulips still looking beautiful 😢 I'm surprised you couldn't sell those as cut flowers.
I just love watching you guys! Your husband's commentary is the cherry on top 😂

I like what you said about the tropical look of the tree Peony. That's why I have 3 Hardy Hibiscus plants. Love them except for the Hibiscus Sawfly larvae every year. I used to use Neem oil and Diatomaceous earth. But I'm too nervous about Monarchs and other Caterpillars getting harmed which is why I stopped a few years ago. Also why I have a yard full of ants. Oh well...

Love watching the progress on the high tunnel! Will you be hauling in the dirt first or putting up the tunnel first?

Our beautiful sweet black pug passed a few days ago. We still have our fawn pug but we're heartbroken. We have a 16 inch fence around our garden that keeps them out!

Oh wow, lots of work done! But those tulips, how could you do that to them, that almost hurt! I live in zone 3, those bulbs would flower again, sorry but wasteful. With all that land, your peonies could have gone somewhere else.

I'm pretty sure that tulips are perennial bulbs and the bulbs will multiply and only get bigger

"Go in the compost bin"...what?! Can't they just be sold as cut flowers? No monies were generated from the growing of these tulips? I would pay a few bucks for them. It is a sad day at the farm and my two lips are pouting☹
