another argument why the only games worth to buy is drm free ons.....because then your community can improvise patches and run tournaments or just a place to chat... according to what customers*/players wants... and not according to what ever agendas the big publisher have about what they want you to 'think' about

I hear "Nod air is just terrible" and my heart stings remembering TS and walling up behind artillery, tick tanks, lasers, SAM sites, and the occasional Obelisk with stealth and bullying GDI or lesser Nod's with Banshees... Ah, the good old days

I must say Bike is one of my favorite players. Not to discredit the other player but when u watch the last match it didnt even seem fair. I wish there wasnt as many nod games but I will say I did enjoy it at the same time. Let's just hope the next games we see are not nod spam lol. This one had me at the edge of my seat I cant lie.

I'm awful at strategy games and played a lot of C&C, RA, and SC back in the day. I love seeing so much C&C content on RUclips! It makes me want to play, then after installing and playing realizing I have to play on easy just to have fun--I LOVE watching this high level play!!!
I caught myself a few times doing that. I used to always dread when they'd face each other too, for that same reason (irony was that they faced each other often in finals because they are/were both very good!)

That would have been Fricken Awesome...Imagine BikeRushOwnz as a devoted Kane follower... Who was tasked by Kane to Eliminate Renegade Nod forces who left the Brotherhood, Under the command of Shoktrepet. That would be EPIC... Players in general could have role played all kinds of roles in Tournaments.

This is also two Nod mains so there is a definite Nod bias, but if you have a GDI main playing it would be a bit different. Nod still has some super strong combos and because of Catalyst can feel abusive, but a good GDI or Scrin player can definitely go toe to toe.
@@OneSybert it really is a different game though. More economy focused and money is way tighter. I still prefer tw :D btw great work man. Your casting is excellent, camera work is on point and the production value is fantastic. You really rekindled my love for this game back when I did replay reviews as a kid!! :D
Don't know if you guys have casted together before or duel cast in general but it was very well done. Haven't heard any tripping over each other or one over powering the other. Just trading the mic back and forth perfectly. Hopefully Spartacus sticks around and you guys get together for a few more it was a real treat.
Glad you enjoyed it! Sparty and I used to collaborate a lot more back when we were both active. We try and do stuff every so often but we both have busy work schedules so it doesn't happen much.
@Sybert, C&C Caster Damn, welp you gotta enjoy the few that you can get together on and that was for a great one none the less. Can relate I ain't got time for nothin atm let alone trying to sync up with someone. I have enjoyed the casts nonetheless, I barely know what's going on but it helps make painting walls, drywalling, tiling or whatever a little more enjoyable. Might try out Kane's Wrath sometime but good lord multiplayer rts has given me a unique form of ptsd.
You can buy it on Steam or Origin. If you wait it goes on sale on Steam usually a couple times a year and you can get Tib Wars and Kane’s Wrath for $5 each.
I recently bought a new laptop, but it doesn't have a disc drive, I know where I can find buy and download some of the Command and Conquer games, but I'm having trouble finding where I can get Generals and its extension.
I’m amazed at how many times shock got his harvesters killed by bikerush. Time and time again bike/buggy runs in unexpected, unanswered and munches those harvesters and scouts for the 1-click. He can’t keep getting away with this!
And Bricky's video where he just gushes about why he likes KW is over 400,000 views 14 years after the game came out. Just not enough sales for a company as big as EA to care.

I mean I understand that they wanna make a buck but the amount of money they put into marketing might be better spent on doing a zero sum game that is amazing and will increase their popularity in the long run. GGs. Shok needs to remember to use his obelisks to attack buildings. That would have helped him in multiple instances. In contrast, Bike did this very effectively, even taking out the tech lab with obelisks.
I can’t believe I somewhat enjoy this game on console back in the day. Think it was on 360. I remember having a handful of units on the screen & the console hated it. The amount of lag was laughable lol basically unplayable. I started playing this today on pc (op pc, 3090 & a 11gen I7). What a difference. Ive done matches where I make as many units as I can to try & work my pc a little & I don’t think I’ve heard my fans kick in once (btw, it’s one of those hotbox Alienwares) . I’m getting my asked kicked on medium difficulty though, so I’m on yt trying to see what I’m doing wrong lol Love this damn game
this is unrelated but can someone help, i cannot install custom maps on kain's wrath, i looked online everywhere and have no idea why it is not working.
Might be a registry setting if it always fails when receiving maps: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Electronic Arts\Electronic Arts\Command and Conquer 3 Kanes Wrath UseLocalUserMaps ||| REG_DWORD ||| 0 If you have CGF's "Command Post" you can run a troubleshooter which applies this among other fixes. Good Luck!

I've watched way too many KW matches that the vanilla game without the expansion just feels so different, especially when there's no meta heavy stuff such as AP Ammo, Hammerheads, TibCore Missiles, and Mechapedes.
Why do the game developers not developing this type of games anymore? It's still one of the best gameplay out there. btw, whats the latest version that i can download and play, Kane Wrath's version would be better cz i love the big tank and redeemer stuff :)

A crying shame Avatars ain't upgraded by em. I get that it means 2x HP but 1 laser canon cost 1000 and the avatars firepower goes from 900 to 2000!! You get 2x the firepower for ~40% the cost! (Avatar is 2300) .... and don't get me started on a promoted unit! Those slap so hard its a crime.
PLEASE can some developer add a "REMATCH" button at the end of each game. Its very annoying to find a match after every 10min of game, specially for noobs.

I was always a WC2/3 and SC/BW player, but I always wish I had played this too. I used to watch my friend play it and it looks really fun.

Yep, selling immediately to get a rifle squad, usually for scouting.

1.02+ is better in my opinion. Nothing wrong with 1.03 and maybe one day that'll be better, but I like 1.02+
