Started a Sweep Slayer because of your pre-league video and am loving it, got through the acts the fastest I ever had even when having to work most of the days since launch. Ready to go into maps tomorrow after work.
Greetings Exile man ! I immediately change my main skill from these after watching these ! Thanks =). Been using sunder and boneshatter, both are so tiring to play on long run. Wanna play the meta zenith molten strike but seem very high cost investment. Sunder have to aim direction and boneshatter nevertheless hv to keep stacking it up, so tiring. So fun sweeping =)))
Started this build BECAUSE of your pre-league video and i'm just loving it. Never done a Duelist/Slayer before (i do 1 character per league only) and for a casual player that has spent 15+ hours and i'm still on act 5, i just love it. Swapped to Sweep on act 4 and a nice sword that was a gift, and i see where the build goes (will have to adapt that axe masteries to what i have now...). But overall is going so good! I agree with you, i don't like to farm/build towns, i love to explode mobs ^^. Please update PoE if so, or make a version to go straight to sword if it's possible ;) Again congrats for the videos, sometimes lucky!!
I also dropped a ryslathas day 2 from an maelstrom of chaos map I think, and could literally just drop it in and use it without any gear finagling. SSF. Very happy player right now.... This league is great on all fronts.

Am using the same build also missing around with exerts for curses and some warcry buffs using autoexertion by replacing multistrike with faster attacks some it can be exerted been fun for now will see how it works out.
I been wanting to try this but with dual swords. Edit: i didnt know sweep needed a 2 handed wep until now. dang, will still be giving it a shot to see wassup

as aways your sweep guides bring me to sweep a few leagues ago, even when isnt a melee league oriented i was playing with sweep and i skyrocket all content thank you mate.
Its only these monsters that spawn the balls that follow you from ritual. Did a t15 map and each of the balls oneshot me. Had 5k life, max spell suppress, max block 60-70phys reduction + 6endurance charges with 80 all res, but apparently they dont care about that, as they still oneshot me several times

Sometimes lucky, when I was testing out build in standard before league started got 2 div drop lol. Since I started - just few chaos and items 1-2 c each, but that's RNGna you'll need to drink
I tried Pohx RF cheiftain but it started harsh for me. I keep dying. Was the monsters dmg buffed this time? It seems Marauder tankiness is not present on this league. I might wanna switch to this slayer sweep just to check things out.
It wasn't - except the campaign monster/AI update(s) couple leagues ago. But you might feel being punished more simply because as RF you don't kill that quickly nor you stun or freeze enemies. So everything that would normally not hit you, now swarms and actually hits you.
Same boat. Died at least 20x in the acts, skill issue + not knowing how to RF properly. So imo, build is not as straightforward cuz u hav to consider this&that before things start to work = not beginner friendly at all in my book. Big also, single target dmg is horrible, i am a betrayal guy & killing the members or even a rare monster is painfully slow. I hit 85, t5 maps w/ at least 150c investment, still not liking the feel of RF so im gonna reroll to this Sweep. Looks way cooler & doesnt block the map🫠

@@ExiledCat_PoE That character isn't on the starter beach in act 1 and starting with 4 and 5 slot equipment yeah not zero to hero. More like campaign complete and doing maps. But you already know that.

This build is great fun! I still haven't respeced into the crit version but im on the verge on doing it. Only got a 692 Pdps so gotta work on that.
I found using a 2h sword was so much smoother through the entire campaign than an axe simply because of the speed you can get

Most "melee" builds, this included, have enough range to be on par with casters.

sweep doesn't have phys tag and you using phys supports hahahhaha so this is a bug.
