@@guyblokeson2143 Im of the inclination that I'd rather retrospectively watch the video shot by professionals than some handycam shot by someone too consumed with scoring social points than paying the artist any direct attention, especially given I was in a different country at the time of recording.
@@kurzweildude- I often take short videos at gigs. Not for social media, for myself - as little mementos of the gigs I've seen and it gives me great joy, year on year to see them come up in my Google photos feed and I remember all the great gigs I saw. Why not just disregard others, enjoy the concert the way you want to, and let others enjoy it the way they want to too?
@@idealmodernsystems possibly hit a nerve here. "...and let others enjoy it the way they want to too?' Interesting comment here. You do realise that by interrupting the performance, getting your phone out, fiddilng through the menus, then waving this big, reflective, light emitting object in the air, your disturbing others and preventing them from enjoying it. Your saying your experience is more important than anyone else's (it could be said). Your also spoiling your own experience, how can you really focus on a performance if your conscious of wanting to get your phone out to savour the best bit? You have a wonderful brain to store memories of moments you experience, you dont need a google feed. Buy some merch if you really need a momento.
RIP Eoin French. Beautiful collaboration 😭
I'm still in shock to be honest, he made an impact on me, amazing artist. RIP.
An astonishing performance, now lent enormous emotional weight by the loss of Eoin French. A tribute that will live long in the memory.

Put the phones away and enjoy it..... live,
so many people in the room, so few in the moment
