Keep your faith
This song became memorable to me the moment a former friend sung this to me during a party at school. He liked me for four years and confessed through this song. He was there during my winnings and losses. He always looks after me. And although I can't reciprocate the feelings to him, he never stop to be a caring friend. He even sent me gifts every birthday. Or would follow me behind when going home to make sure I'm safe.
There came my first heartbreak with my first boyfriend and I sat alone at the boulevard during that night. Someone sat with me on a bench and to my surprise it was him. He was there and listened to me. Even took picture of me while I'm taking picture of the full moon. He drove me home and had in the back of my mind to hug him but also thought "ah it's fine we still get to meet since we're just each other's neighbors".
Few months after that, I had a call telling me that he's dead. He actually had Leukemia for a year already and he never told me even during the time we last talked. Now, here I am, regretting not giving that hug a chance while I'm listening to this song. Only that, this song hits different now. 💔
He appeared in my dream 2 years ago and few days before I act as a maid of honor on my cousin's wedding, he gave me a bouquet (red roses surrounded with white roses) and gave me a wide sweet smile. I'm shocked that that same bouquet is exactly the same flower and arrangements that was given to me during the wedding. Now, I am engaged and I owe him my life for allowing me to meet his kind soul 🤍
