The duality of tragedy and comedy, as staples of the human condition, goes back tens of thousands of years. Steve-O has made a career of walking the finest line possible between the two, to the point of blurring it in a way that upon a surface glance, we don't even see the tragedy. Many of his stunts over the years could have resulted in the loss of his life, which would have shined a huge spotlight on the tragedy aspect of his life (e.g., physical and emotional pain he's endured). We are all fortunate that Steve-O managed to gain better control of this narrow-tight rope routine of decision making, and that we get to witness more of his comedy without the tragic loss.

Dude idk if you can call a dude high 24/7 in his “prime”.
@@itb4255 why not he was tho
@@itb4255 Well he's prime in one way, being higher than a kite.
I remembered watching these videos when they put a documentary about his intervention. He was a crazed and just an all out scumbag, but I'm really glad he turned his life around and you could tell the jackass gang really cared for him too. Props to Steve O
I was incredibly lucky to have you as parents. Ive had friends whose mum and dad didnt care. You truly do and i know that
The duality of tragedy and comedy, as staples of the human condition, goes back tens of thousands of years.
Wow Stevo I can remember watching these back in the day when I bought your DVDs through the mail or whatever. The scene that stick out most for me is when your entire apartment floor was filled with nitrous canisters. I'm glad you're still with us my friend. Thank you for all the last through the years I'm looking forward to the new movie and I'm enjoying all the new content on RUclips that you're putting out hopefully I can catch a live show of yours here in Detroit soon. We would love to have you here. Detroit is a gnarly City man

I think the thing I love the most about you, is you've always been able to laugh at just how ridiculous you or the situation youre in, is. Like, that makes it more funny. If you were to sit and denounce all your past antics and stuff then it wouldn't be funny

It's been a while since I've looked at Jackass, let alone wondered what happened to all of you. I'm so glad you've come so far, man. I'm so glad you're in a much better place now and you're doing your best. All the best, man :)

I really hope Steve-O gave them a deep, heart-felt apology.
After he got sober he called up the apartment complex and tried to pay their rent but the guy had moved out and the apartment complex management couldn't legally tell him where the guy moved to.
@@chutcentral that’s wrong they can legally tell him anything. It may be company policy but not legal. This isn’t some hippa shit. You can tell anyone who rented out your place.

Steve O is proof that miracles exist. He is fucking alive and kicking !!!!
Steve O always was and will be forever my Hero. Steve, no matter what Bro, i just freaking love you and i am ready to do any shit possible and impossible with you!
SteveO. I remembered that moment and feel sorry for u when used to do drugs. But u and Novak are great inspirations to stay sober. I'm happy u, Knoxville, Novak and the others are inspiring others to stay sober. I used to drink with buddies and decide to not to keep drinking. U guys rock.

I’m glad he’s gotten clean, and so I’m anticipating Bam to get clean too. It’s sad seeing someone in that state of mind.
Steve-O eventually wanted to get sober, Bam couldn't care less.
@@grindcoreninja6527 i think bam does care. If you watch the knocking doors down podcast episode he was on you can see that he really does want to stay sober. Unfortunately Bam has a lot of mental health issues that Steve-O doesn’t have. That can definitely make staying sober much more difficult
