  • In this presentation, Professor Nick Tyler will discuss accessibility challenges in the built environment, especially transportation network, with a main focus on challenges for the neurodiverse in our communities. Professor Nick Tyler is the Director of the University College London Centre for Transport Studies. He leads the Accessibility Research Group within the Centre for Transport Studies, investigating many aspects of accessibility and public transport. The group research how to make the world more sympathetic to people's needs and creating a sustainable future for both people and planet. His work is highly transdisciplinary, featuring multisensorial spatiotemporal design and he researches with civil and mechanical engineers, psychologists, architects, musicians, philosophers, neuroscientists, artists, urban designers, planners, economists, ophthalmologists, audiologists and orthopaedics.
