    Corrections:
    3:40 the gloss at the bottom left is supposed to say 3WUM-3EUM, not 3WUM-3OUM
    8:18 the s column shouldn't be highlighted as there's no metathesis there, only in the s row
    11:58 and 17:30 the bottom right sentence's translation should be "He doesn't write the book."
    18:49 lei means "read", not "flower"
    21:37 JAN PAWEŁ PIĄTY MIERZYŁ MAŁE KĄTY!!! the interrogative logograph is only ever used word-initially, so the cell shouldn't span all three columns
    22:20 the bottom right character is incorrect, as the current rule for characters like that is not to use a loop at all (22:50 has this as well)
    23:45 I forgot to add the word for "theory" (koüntolä /koüntola/) so it only says "idea" and "system"
    24:42 the punctuation mark after "ägä" at the top of the line is a period, it's supposed to be a comma
    24:50 I translated "effective" (peodagdoe /pyodattwe/) as "good" mistakenly, but I guess it still makes sense
    25:00 rän should be written as r-än, instead of rä-n, since only r is part of the genitive marker

    • @xXarchitoXx
      @xXarchitoXx Месяц назад +40

      Coming from a Polish speaker, when I gave Brazilian Portuguese a shot it was the softness of all the sounds that was challenging. If it's compared to Russian it's probably less about the actual harshness and likely more about the amount of "sh" type of sounds, which i personally wouldn't consider harsh

      @@xXarchitoXx what is fascinating is that this is a cultural perspective. Like for you a Slavic speaker (and for me as a Brazilian) Portuguese doesn't sound Slavic at all, but for some English speakers the melody and the "sh/zh" sounds is what they associates with Slavic languages

    This is honestly one of my favourite conlangs in a while. I feel that it very much captures the complexity and messiness of real world languages, so I'd say you kind of nailed that aspect. If you ever decide to make more vocabulary, I'd love to have a go at learning Lalűta someday, I think it would be a fun hobby :)
    A note that I have about the phonology in particular (which I assume you probably already considered but I'll point it out anyway): it's oddly similar to a combination of Irish Gaelic and Old English; the former due to how consonants change based on front/back vowels, and the latter through how Pre-Old English used to have front versions of it's back vowels (æ, ö, ü/y), but eventually ö devolved into e. In the case of Lalűta you could also say that æ/ä also devolved into plain a, but kept the consonant mutation (in case anyone would want to reconstruct a sort of "Old Lalűta").
    All in all though, really great video for a great conlang! Love the periphrastic verbs, the script, and the funky sound that this language has. Very cool :3

  • @chard2512
    @chard2512 Месяц назад +22

    Not a language that I would learn and use, but I love the effort you took to convey the subtle messages of who you are and what you like in a rich and deep language. I'd say you did an awesome job, and I encourage you to not stop there. Continue exploring your ways to express yourself as you like and seeking for more knowledge. Just remember that this is all about to be happy and satisfied with your life, not to be a perfect artist or get a lot of followers and likes. Muito obrigado!

      @janikusu8677 23 дня назад +5

      yeah it took me a little while to get my head round, so i'll go through it bit by bit
      エロカワ - エロい + かわいい, sexy but cute
      男の娘に - from [a] femboy. read the same as 男の子 with the 娘 meaning girl/daughter, hence femboy
      口の中に - in [my] mouth's inside
      一発 - one shot
      Xに放たれたい - [I] want to receive emission from X (the femboy)
      that 放たれたい can be broken down into:
      放つ - to release/emit
      放たれる - to receive emission. Cure Dolly has some great videos on (ら)れる if you're interested, it's the best explanation i've found
      放たられたい - I want to receive emission. note that 〜たい usually refers to what the speaker wants, when talking about other peoples desires use 〜たがる instead.
      altogether:
      sexy-cute femboy [from], mouth's inside [in], I want to emit-receive one shot
      I want to take a load in my mouth from a cute and hot femboy
      sorry for the autistic explanation lol, i like japanese a little bit

I was not able to follow the linguistics explanation too well, wish there was a simpler explanation for the grammar for us less linguistic folk ❤

    It's good to see that people enjoy this, since it obviously took a long time to make. For me personally, it's a bit too much.😅
    Knowing what it was made for, looking at the written language and listening to you speak it at the same time just makes my stomach turn in ways it shouldn't, but that's not that important.
    Good job man. Creating a whole ass language is long and hard work.

    Nice! I like it, especially the NWSEO system
    The phonology is interestingly complex in quite a natural-feeling way)
    Yes-no questions vs content questions?
    Imperative: NEG-GEN-stop-2S seems like it would be quite long for an urgent command ("stop!")
    Sample: wow, the lack of back vowels gives it that really cutesy affection kind of feel
    (If this had an actual speaker community using it I reckon those back vowels would round out, as those are more acoustically distinct. The universal (afaik) presence of front-unround and back-round in a vowel inventory is phonetically motivated... no crit tho since you do expressly state that it's a personal lang)

      Technically, the speaker doesn’t HAVE to be the one doling out the consequences.
