I find it interesting how this one is based off that creepy ending screen from SM64 Classified. (Down to the scream at the start too!) Really awesome horror sm64 series, it deserves as much love as the songs in this mod. Costume Mario's sprites are so sick and the overall vibe is spooky but cool too, very perfect way to cap off the Classified Castle world. 1:25 this part is my favorite.

My personal headcanon is that costume is actual mark Robertson from the obscure spanish creepypasta, which ended with mark completely missing and only the tv playing with super mario world. My theory is M (Super Horror Mario) pulled mark into his world through the smw game, and gave him a deal similar to bf and gf, and of course, he failed. Afterwards as a punishment he puts marks soul into the costume he used to commit all the murders with, stuck in it forever. Hence why he looks so depressed near the end of the song, he knows whats coming for bf, and knows he'll just suffer the same fate he did.

But from what I can gather ultra M can manipulate his body, from a large slender figure to a giant slender eldritch creature, this is seen when he makes puppet GF appear, I seen a pic over the internet how the entire scenery of that part looks like and M is actually playing with GF like a strung up puppet. One of his hands are even floating above where GF is, not to mention the last part in all stars, his stature completely changes to a giant being of limitless power and trickery, this I’m only theorizing but ultra M has no size limit, so it’s unclear how tall he can truly be, normal M I’d say is as tall as Luigi to be honest, but that’s my theory on it🤷

Makes them a bit overwhelming to listen to at points. They're not bad by any means, but this is the one thing that's holding them back a bit imo.
@@majinfinity Chromatic is smth I've found can really work around a more "spammy" or "packed" song if it's done right. If the chromatic is very pleasent to listen to or is mixed well, it can do a complete 180 to the song. Foolhardy is a great example of such.
