Hi Alan! Wow! Fantastic flying. It is always a pleasure watching you fly and this is no exception. I had a total blast at IRCHA and meeting you was the highlight of the event for me. Thanks for sharing and happy flying!
You know, for one short very short second, when I saw the blade on the ground in front of Tareq, I thought he had lost one of his blades and was still flying. And for one very quick subsecond, I was thinking, "Damn he is really that good." Excellent flying guys!
2 of the best pilots in the world. Alan is the smoothest most technical while Tareq is uniquely chaotic. Both are GREAT to watch. Although... Trex's seem so damn slow compared to a Goblin now... ;-)
who crashed? altho the heli doing inverted auto and hanging there kinda looks like Tareq's style so it could be Alan that crashed? I could be wrong tho... I have the same heli!
Thank for the correction for the arab guy to do what he do with his thumb hes pretty good, both man or bad ass, i am still learning this thing so i will get there aaaaaaaaaaaahhhh BTW how thing with you.
Those two are crazy good in their own respect but I have to give the nod to Tareq being the Michael Jordan of RC helis and btw I have to support the fellow thumb flyers. Now why is is Tareq never carries his own helis??
sure i understand the concept behind the tea bag and that it may be a common thing in tandem flights but as a pro you should demonstrate good character,TEA BAGGING CAN BE FUN BUT ITS WEAK MINDED,LIKE I SAID TAREQ IS DEMONSTRATING FOR ALIGN AT A PUBLIC EVENT ,WHY NOT CONTINUE TO THROW DOWN SOME NICE 3D FOR THE CROWD INSTEAD OF WASTING WHAT POWER HE HAD LEFT ON NONSENSE.COULD HAVE DONE A NICE INVERT AUTO. PLUS ITS FUN TO VOICE MY OPINION AND GET RESPONSE,ALSO I DO HAVE A VALID POINT.
in addition to my last comment alan says had a great time,im sure that would have been true if tareq had been the one that crashed.NOTICE IN THE BEGINNING OF THE VIDEO WHERE TAREQ'S "CLICK" WAS SWELLIN UP LIKE IT WAS A FIGHT,THE BEST PILOT WINS SMACK DOWN STYLE ,AGAIN ARROGANCE ON TAREQ'S BEHALF not to say tareq is not a dam good pilot because he is,be proud of your how skillfull but dont rub the salt into an open wound aka THE TEA BAGGING by tareq hovering over alans crash
flying with your thumb is hard and barely any precision that how i stared out Now i am pinching less crash and way more control over you heli the arab guy good see alan is faster and more precision. now that is the out come for pinching.
also would alan have tea bagged tareq if he had crashed not sure but wouldnt think that he would.still tareq would have deserved alan knocking the tx out of his hand at the time of the tea bag and then delivered a nice punch to the suck hole but thats not a professional way to carry himself as he is payed by sponsors
OMG stop with the whining about the teabagging.I have seen it many many times with tandem flights where one crashes, its almost tradition to do it.Find something else to cry about FFS.
yes tareq was taking a dump on alans face with the close hover over alans downed heli, tareq is a great pilot but he is an arrogant jerk,no need for the teabagging be of good sport or someone should teabag tareq with a punch to the mouth.both are great pilots but its time for alan to step it up and redeem himself of this tragedy.
real and r/c heli do operate on the same principles of flight but, full scale (real) helis rotor blades do not rotate near as fast nor do they have the structural strength to withstand such a beating. r/c helis blades are usually made of carbon fiber so they have strength, rigidity, and light weight to support such performance. there are a few aerobatic full-size helis though. the BO-105 is a very nimble chopper and one is sponsored by Red Bull and tours the world performing at air shows.
fuselage weight really has nothing to do with it. its all in the rotor blades. the blades must have the structural integrity to withstand this level of performance. and by the way, insulting someone who is just trying to get info really doesnt help either. especially when you really didnt even know the proper answer.
This is by far the best 3D video online for years
History in the making! Tareq and Alan flying together!
Hi Alan! Wow! Fantastic flying. It is always a pleasure watching you fly and this is no exception. I had a total blast at IRCHA and meeting you was the highlight of the event for me. Thanks for sharing and happy flying!
Now that was pretty freakin cool, had goosebumps when you guys almost met in the center a few times. Fun stuff...
Watched it again, you're right. That was awesome! :)
It was Alan - at 3:50 Alan is at left (just after the cut in video, Tareq is looking towards the right heli), comes from front to right and dips it.
You know, for one short very short second, when I saw the blade on the ground in front of Tareq, I thought he had lost one of his blades and was still flying. And for one very quick subsecond, I was thinking, "Damn he is really that good." Excellent flying guys!
Awesome!! We'll have the same here in Brazil at Helifoz (November /2012)! :)
I love how the announcer thinks that he should just yell lower the whole time. LOL
Great flying guys. Looks like you had a great time.

Jr
2:16 i see a blade
That is how pros weightbalance their blades.
sorry, it was a mistake from me cuz in that day i was really pissed off.

I think tareq has surpassed Allan :)

thumbs vs. pinching!!! tareq should really learn to pinch. he'll be even better!!!
also would alan have tea bagged tareq if he had crashed not sure but wouldnt think that he would.still tareq would have deserved alan knocking the tx out of his hand at the time of the tea bag and then delivered a nice punch to the suck hole but thats not a professional way to carry himself as he is payed by sponsors
The teabagging was a bit unnecessary.
Tareg is 10 times the flyer of Alan sorry... Way more control and precision.
OMG stop with the whining about the teabagging.I have seen it many many times with tandem flights where one crashes, its almost tradition to do it.Find something else to cry about FFS.

Why is Tareq doing chaos higher then Alan Szabo? ...OH! I forgot, Mr. Alibaba can't fly like Alan !
rule of flying! with the top 2 best in the world, YOU want a show or bloopers??? would like to see you do better!!!
Sure... Just give about 10 years and then you will see me doing it better. or just accept that Alan kick tareq's a$$
