I love how you're going a zillion miles per hour on a potential death machine, and you still giving props to cars you pass....another great ride. thanks.
I have a bobber, my first bike but I'm still scarred shitless going over 70...I gotta get use to it I guess. you make it look easy and comfortable. Great vid!
I see you’re from Texas also. I currently have a 2022 Bobber, 2021 Rocket 3GT and a 2012 M109R. I love the looks of the Bobber. I really think that is is the only bobber that really represents what a Bobber should look like!
I have loved this machine since it came out. We have two Triumph dealerships in the area but every time I visit they don't have any not even the T120 bobbers. I currently own an 06 Rocket 3 Classic and would love to part with that monstrosity for something smaller to meet the needs of the ever increasing Metrolina traffic situation. Great video by the way.
Hey mate from Australia and do a fair bit of driving and wanting to go on big rides and I'm considering buying a bobber and just wanted to know how do you find it on bigger rides and is it annoying with the wind smashing your head and chest ??
Hey there! I only got to ride the bobber for a bit so I cant tell you my experience on long rides with it, however I do own a Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 (naked Cafe Racer) and the wind honestly doesn't bother me too much on long rides!
Hey Shaun, I own the Triumph Bobber, and IMO I think there are better bikes for “bigger” rides. The bobber is built more for around the town, bar hoping, day trips. Not much room for side bags, suspension (especially if you’re 200+ lbs) and comfort at 70+ mph (on any naked bike) is questionable, and impossible to 2-up on bobber, if that’s important to you. I think the most important thing is to buy a bike that’s built to fit your riding style. There’s lots of information on RUclips. Good luck 👍
Hi mate New subscriber from Darwin Australia 🇦🇺 and love the video I just got a 2017 bobber and absolutely love it.. first video I’ve watched I did wish you spoke a little.. thanks
from my ignorance: why this bike has chain? it isn't better in this type of motorcycle the belt or cardan? The chain for me is more required in sportbikes or something like that, this type of cruiser bike I wish to have the confidence of a low required maintenance transmission. But probably I'm all wrong, I'm not an expert. I hope someone can clear my mind Ride safe yall brothers Great video !
@EspressoRacer if you still have this amazing machine... what about the reliability of the engine? I haven't heard anything about triumph engines recently... I'll appreciate a lot to know if they have good endurance or if they are fragile... Thanks for answering!
Great question! They are both pretty different tbh. Between how they ride, look, and quality of materials used. I’d only get the bobber black if I was absolutely certain I wanted a bobber bike. While you can make the Royal Enfield a bobber too, it’ll probably cost you an arm and a leg to make it happen. Riding wise, expect more power in the bobber black :)
This might be a dumb question, I'm a newbie who doesn't even have a motorcycle license. But how come you sometimes rev-match when downshifting, and other times you dont?
Hey there! Great question! I try to rev match most times but the times I don’t is usually when there is too short of distance in my braking and I prefer to hold clutch down and hold the brake simultaneously. Hope this makes sense!
Hey Doug, I also find when I rev match, I’m not taking advantage of engine breaking to slow me down while I’m downshifting to come to a stop. Consequently, I don’t rev match very much, but that’s just me.
Thank you all for the continued support! The bike I own is a Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 :) This video is on the Custom 2018 Triumph Bobber Black that was lent by the great guys over at Iron Supply Powersports.
Hello. I'm just 15 years old, but I want to buy Triumph motorcycle. But I don't know which one to buy. I want Triumph The Bobber and Triumph Bonneville. I will be able to drive with them just when I'll be 24 in my country, but I want to start saving money for it. Which one is better ? Also I would need a cool looking helmet. I really like Your video ! It looks like I'm driving with it ! Greetings from Lithuania !!!
Wow! Thanks for watching all the way from Lithuania! You are still young and motorcycles will come and go, so just save up and see what's available in a few years! Same with helmets, but I love my Shoei helmet! Stick with higher quality helmets and motorcycles and always remember to ride safe! Best wishes

LOL! Amazing Comment! Thank you so much :)
Gotta give respect when due

Thanks for watching! 70 mph can definitely feel fast! Just build your comfort level and ride at your own pace every time,
I´m currently getting my licence at 47 years old. I´m 99% sure the Bobber will be my first bike. It just feels right.
You won't regret it! Both riding and the bobber :)
Triumph makes a beautiful sounding and looking bike
I couldnt agree more! Such an amazing fun bike
Really enjoyed your video. I love the Bobber and may look into getting one. Love the look sound and classic air-cooled powerplant. Thanks!
Thanks for watching!
Honestly, the bobber was such a pleasant motorcycle to ride
Nice video mane. Definitely been wanting to see how these beasts handle the highway. You make it look fun! I appreciate it!
Such a fun bike around town and in the twisties!
Beautiful ride
Thanks for watching!

I still remember falling in love with the bobber once I saw it!
Great video, thanks. I live in the UK and I'm seriously thinking avout getting one!
You should! Great bike to ride

Yes! I would definitely swing a leg over once your dealerships have it in stock! Ride safe and thank you for the kind words :)
The exhaust kind of sounds like McQueen's mustang in Bullit
Well said!
You are extremely fortunate to drive this machine on such roads..Keep going. .loved your video
Thank you! So happy you enjoyed
@@EspressoRacer yes enjoyed a lot..Expect plenty of videos like this
This higher pitched noise it is gearbox or chain?
I believe it is the gearbox since I tucked in the external mic towards inside of bike (to prevent wind noise)
Still unsure whether it's to be the Bobber or Speedmaster.
I personally love the bobber!

I am a heavy car guy normally but this bike makes me wanting a bike licence
Definitely worth getting into riding! I love fast cars, but there's no better thrill than riding a motorcycle
@@EspressoRacer hope so i got a meeting tomorrow about the licence :) your content is really really good i got a sense of the freedom of bike driving

Hey Tony! Thank you for checking out the video :)
I plan on making talking reviews at the end of my first ride videos going forward!

What exhaust? Thanks in advance.
British Customs Turn Out Performance - I believe it is this one :)
Hows that seat feel? My stock bobbers seat is horrendous!
Seat feels good to me! I can see myself riding on this seat for a very long time
so how you think it compares to the Re Cont. GT650? thinking of picking up one up

I would go flat out on them roads great riding bro bit more speed !,
Thanks man! I would go faster but those cops on this road are everywhere!
Like is sound the movie "Bullitt" Mustang fastback. 🤘🏻🤘🏻
It sure does!!
thank you for not adding music.
Thanks for watching! I think the exhaust does all the sounds it needs :)
@@EspressoRacer does the exhaust scrape pretty easy in corners, or do you really have to be leaned over?
@@mikeegbert6584 I personally don't think so, but I only test rode it this day and didn't push it too far
What was your top speed? Looked like you were going pretty fast.
Hey there! If I had to guess, 110 mph
Top D+!!!
Thanks!
Curious how the wind at that speed is without any wind screen.
Not too bad
Then again 3/4 bikes I’ve owned were screen less
Damn it sounds like SPITFIRE
Thanks!
Nice Bike. But, if I were you, I would internally wire my Handlebars... :-) Peace, Stiletto :-)
Thanks Stiletto!
Love from Indian man...
Thank you so much! Much love back
Thank you! For keeping your mouth shut!
Glad I could help by keeping my mouth shut and letting the engine do all the talking!
