Thanks. I've been trying to decide what to do with my windows and seeing how the spring balance hooks together helps. Haven't found that clear an explanation anywhere else.

Love watching expert craftsman. I have a house that was built in 1949 in Pensacola it has wooden double hung windows with those spring rods on the ends people ask me if I’m gonna upgrade the windows I tell him hell no I love these old windows
