- This video features a role play performed by the students in the Front Office Management & Operation class. The students worked together in groups with an assigned topic, created a story content, and chose a place/context for the role play themselves. It was conducted as part of the course assessment at university and it was intended as part of their learning/course. The video therefore does not necessarily represent the standards set by any institution, hotel, or the hotel where the role play took place.

Thank you for your question. Please consult Chapter 7 by James Bardi (2003). It is old but it may be somehow helpful.
Registration means who ever check in we must collect their passport and print their booking registration form to get their detail (email and contact number) and after reading registration guest must sign the form to acknowledge avoid any dispute at the time of check out.
In Dubai in registration card will mention everything like arrival date ,departure date,room rate,hotel policies etc.
Passport which we collected will scan in our system which connected to dubai tourism department.
Every hotel use different different system defend on their capacity

They are not supposed to say the room number out loud where everyone can hear it. That is a violation of the hotel's confidentiality policy
