There is no fake engine noise on the Veloster N. Only thing it has is a "rumble motor" on the firewall, to create a deeper engine tone and engine feel. However, everything you hear in this video is just how the car sound naturally. What helps with sound is the valved exhaust and the fact that the stock intake is basically a cone cold air intake, so you hear the turbo and a lot of intake noise. I removed removed my rumble motor and it still sounds like the car in the video, even without it. - Source: I have this car.
I love this car a lot, I really enjoy the unique look, it’s not overly styled, it had a good power plant, decent aftermarket, and I love the 6-speed option and I absolutely love the analog gauges, Im not too crazy for digi gauges, so this thing is perfect. I will most like pick one up later next year if I cannot find a Good condition 9th gen civic Si
Yeah both right side door and left side door type of cars are legal here in US. There is no law that restricts it. Although, be careful otherwise, you may make a wrong turn
@@cherry1le now the VN’s are discontinued. I test-drove an MK7.5 2021 GTI and a 2020 VN, and yes, the VN is a fun little car, but the daily ride and interior were something next to a fisher price toy. I ended up going with the GTI. Aftermarket support is enormous and functions perfectly as a daily and utility-wise.
It’s a quirky car, it’s a Veloster it’s 3 door and I’m assuming it’ll stay that way. A more practical alternative is the Elantra N, more spacious, roomy, more digital features, larger trunk and more affordable
$35,000 question.. 6spd or dct if you were purchasing to own? have watched all of your N videos on this channel and your personal and i want to buy this car. have driven both and i'm extremely torn between the two.
Tough decision. It’s up to u they are both amazing transmissions, there isn’t a wrong choice. I chose a manual because the pops are louder and it’s more interactive, but it’s up to you. Also regarding the other comment about the new type r, you aren’t getting a new type r at msrp either and the N’s are marked up a lot less then type r’s.
@@AnshidSalman where do you live? There’s multiple dealerships selling n’s for msrp with basically no markup, and civic type r’s selling for 10-20k over msrp
Wowww what a nice beautiful 😍 Cute Hyundai Veloster I love this Small car for City driving thanks for this walk around test drive video Godbless from the Philippines 🇵🇭 sir Vhin 😍🙂🙂👏👏👏👏👍👍
One of the most fun driving cars I've owned.
manual or dct?
Man what a fun car hyundai has come such a long way.
I love how you can hear the turbo when the exhaust valve is closed
Let's hear it for No Fake Engine Noise!!!
seriously. the synthetic fake noises are awful in most new cars, ugh.

Coming in a few weeks! Both Ultra Luxury and F Sport Handling.
I have a 2020 VN how do I get it to chime with the shift lights?
Is it a setting?
If ya gonna drive a Veloster N, drive it like this...
Hey what's happening you can put the five point harnesses seat belt 😊❤

white npc suv was slowing to turn (look in the rearview after the turn is complete). max needle threading though if he wasn't! hah.
Can I to bring this car to my country?

How does this compare to the GTI?
It’s faster, better handling, and relatively similar reliability wise. I’ve driven both, and I have to say I prefer the VN heavily.

i love hyundai/ kia/ genesis. but A 3 DOOR CAR? CMON HYUNDAI
Um… it’s been the Veloster’s trademark since 2011
Technically has 4 if you consider the back door

@@richardledesma1675 i think youre getting confused with the elantra n line. The elantra N is the sam price if not more.
@@sugarfree6475 no the Elantra N is cheaper but only 350 dollars cheeper 😭
come on Hyundai bring it to Brazil again
Y'all started calling it the slowster and they got offended 😂
Hey what's happening now that's awesome veloster N but now they've the d.c.t save the manual transmission for the veloster N

I'd say wait for the new Type R. Besides, you are probably not getting a Veloster N for MSRP anyways.

I am a Korean who was passing by. He said it was made for safety, but it looks very uncomfortable.
