Wherever it does not impact the competition capability, the disability quota does not make sense. How does ACL tear impact studies for written test. Also how will a paralysed body serve in public space which is not aligned with people having disabilities. She raised a very valid question. And democracy works and prosper only through asking questions even if these are against holy cows like Reservations.
Read indian constitution as to why reservations are needed for vulnerable communities! If you are not meritorious don't mind speaking against reservations.
being a general candidate and suffering the brunts of not having any quota, I still believe the reservation should be given but it should be only for those who lack the resources and are in dire need of some social security in order to fulfil their dreams and there are many such honest people. but however , I found people having MacBook and iPhone costing more than lakhs getting ews or other quotas....is this justified ?? certainly not. but this issue cant be solved and we all know the real needy students are far from any benefits of the quota system. system wont be amended , no organisation like upsc and others would check the genuinity of the certificates phir debate karne ka bhi fayda nai, status quo will be maintained, general wale khatam ho jaenge in this race minority hogye hai, the genuinely needy students jinko reservation ka faida milna chahie unko milega nai.....and puja khedkar jaise cases hote rahnge . no one can help it

IAS deals with administration and as now environment of our country is becoming more complex and technical there should be diverse participation from people's of all sections of our society as a Woman can understand problems of women, a trans can understand problems of a trans more effectively similarly a disabled people's can understand problems of disabled in a better ways. Question should be not on reservations Questions should be on how to implement it effectively.
