My experience has been the exact opposite. Holds heat, doesn’t leak, nice fit in the car cup holder, 3+ years. Definitely recommended.

I have noticed a hit and miss with both Contigo and bubba. Both I've found amazing mugs, and terrible leaky ones. Perhaps multiple manufacturers
