Quick question: the manual says the VCA amount can be controlled via the knob and CV. But there is no CV input. Does this mean the trigger input is dynamic and not just on/off.
love this! just got mine yesterday! how do you trigger it? looks like its connected to cv outputs from a mpc, maybe? that would be dope to know! thx for this wonderful module
Mpc one has CV. On you track select a cv track type. Set cv to cv1 and gate to cv2. Now connect a patch cable from mpc one’s cv1 to Osiris cv input (pink), then connect Mpc one’s cv2 to Osiris gate input (blue). Now you can play Osiris from your MPC, sequence it, or if you have a midi keyboard attached you can play it from there as well
I don’t think it’s the wavetables that are in anyway exceptional, it’s the timbre engine, that’s wavefolding and much more…… and the fact that it’s in such a small package, so to achieve everything taking place here I would need say an swn, and run something like the external in on elements and use it’s folding and physical modeling, or something like the shapeshifter… lots of hp being the point this is done elegantly imagine the patch and bring it down to the pcb level, here it’s the digital equivalent. It’s obvious when musicians make the gear as opposed to engineers trying to break ground, both are valid means of experimentation.. I see pluses and minuses on both ends engineers are likely to do the undone and get a module that was unimaginable-- it will come at the cost of form and some functionality -results are weird things like excessive menu diving or high strangeness functionally…. Lack of intuitive controls… the opposite is true musicians will streamline that invention and make it intuitive but it will be practical instead of revolutionary.
Love to see DIVKIDS Modules pop up in so many Modular Setups all over RUclips.
Love this Oscillator. Holy, it's exactly what my mind imagined. This is on my top Oscillator want list..
Great seeing you at Knobcon! Awesome beats and sweet module
congrats on the new release!
such a cool module!!
those angled cords look 🔥🔥
Thanks India Wav!!!
This module sounds amazing. Great layout too. Can’t wait to pick one up.
yeah... it comes with its own drum machine and bass too! *WOW!*
(that was sarcasm)
Great congratulations sounds good.
Think it’s going to be a hit!
Nice job, dude !

Use the decay input.
@@Bboytechreport the decay CV also modulates also the VCA amount? In what way?
@@effiksmusic no my bad it modulates decay. It looks like you found a mistake in our manual.
@@Bboytechreport oh, I see. No problem. So I can only set the VCA amount with the pot, right?
Dope! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
This thing will definitely be on my next album!
Nice! sounds dope AF....

@@ModbapModular damn. I got the MPC one. Seems I don't need to worry about external sequencers now. Thank you so much!!
thank *YOU* for this
this sounds so good! holy shit
gorgeous!
Dope! What are you doing with the divkid ochd in this setup?
Just modulating Osiris parameters
Sounds gr8 😎💫💫💫
Dope!
Can you describe your signal flow, what modules and effects are being used? Thank you
Using Prism for filter (cut off and a bit of resonance only) and Modbap Modular Per4mer for Reverb abd Delay. Osiris > Prism > Per4mer
@@ModbapModular awesome thank you.
This oscillator has so much character, love how it breaks up! Is the attack adjustable at all?
it is if you don't use the on-board VCA presumably.
Dooooope!!! 🔥🔥

This is a beautiful composite and work
