Their nervous and anxious expressions before their audition, the confusion after the curtain fell unsure if they were meant to continue, the excitement after realising they were already a part of the music video, the freedom and happiness on their faces after letting go and just enjoying themselves in the moment.

This is an amazing video. It's a terrific metaphor for life.
First you start learning how to dance alone, and then a bunch of crazy shit starts happening without any kind of warning and you need to figure out your place in the group.
Everyone has a different way of fitting in, and as long as you're making a genuine attempt to add your song and dance to everyone elses, there's no real way to fail.

I see it as this:
At first its an audition and they are dancing for others, theres a fixed choreography they made that will be judged by the judges kinda representing how we are afraid of judgement, and then the dancers appear and the judges let them lose themselves representing that we should sometimes lose ourselves in the moment and not care about anybody and dance like nobody is watching

I love the reaction of every dancer, but to me, the asian lady's reaction was superb.
It's like it was a moment she had been waiting for, for such a long time, and when the curtain dropped, surprised at first yes, but her smile made it known that it's exactly what she had been waiting for.
She was also my favorite. I wish we know their names so we can follow their social. This may not be a real audition though. The whole thing looks too pretty and rehearsed to be that spontaneous.

I think this video fit the song perfectly. The song is (in my opinion) about the spontaneity of life, and just letting what happens happen. So the natural reactions of the dancers to the sudden change in set, their laughter at the confetti and dancers, it blended right in. Bravo Oh Wonder, you did it again

I wish we could see each individual dancer's reel from their 'audition' would be amazing, love how each dancer brings their own way of moving and dance style. The whole improvisation aspect makes it even more amazing & the way that after the surprise they interact so amazingly with the other dancers! Amazing song, amazing music video!!!

This song and video resonates with my heart so much I cry everytime I watch it. Which is on repeat. It has a special meditative feel that transports you to your own space in time where nothing matters but the synchronicity of your bone with the beat. It's simply breath taking.

I'm feeling nostalgic for this and it was only made 5 years ago, this song was so big on musically in 2016 and 2017!
To me, this is hands down one of the best music videos of all time. I used to listen to Oh Wonder back when they would post a new song every month on RUclips but never saw the music videos till now. The emotion really amplifies the simplistic yet very important meaning of the song. You don’t often see real raw reactions to things nowadays, beautifully done!

I love how happy and at peace these confused dancers are after coming to terms with there circumstance. They just completely let go and stating having fun. Look at their eyes, their mouths. The pathways to the soul. You can see true passion and happiness. I try to let myself feel what they feel in that moment of total surrender. Simply stunning and raw.
