Sorry but we have lost several games cause defense can't finish. Not saying the offense didn't need to be better. But that truly only the defense 4th or 5th interception all year. Plus earlier this game we could of held 49ers to 3 and also had a 3rd and 14 and our secondary couldn't stop them.

@ Look at the situation around him. Coaching can only go so far. He has no O-Line and while yes that’s partially on him it should be the role of the GM to step up and say wait no we have a weakness in this position, we need to fill it before picking up a fancy new WR or RB. Grier has tried in his own way but we’ve had so much more success with McDaniels offensively then with any other coach in the last 20 years.
@ yup. For part of one year against bad defenses and being totally humiliated against good defenses. So it is a false statement. McDaniel is not a head coach. He is a yoga teacher trying to befriend a QB with some talents and many defects. Penalties, poor play calling, awful control of the clock, collapsed locker room, predictability and low scoring are all on him.
It's a simple as this: we won a game we should have won. We won against a team - a severely beaten up team that is literally falling apart from within - a team that was minus their best linebackers, many of their D-Line, and their primary interior linemen (Dolphans know what this is like), a team that did not deserve to win that game. But we won, and we should have. Albeit with FG's, but we won. Tua didn't turn the ball over, its about time. Tua actually threw the ball down field, finally. The running game was working, why we haven't been doing this the whole time, who knows, but we used it to win. Making good gains on 1st and 2nd downs to stay out of horrendous 3rd down situations was helpful. All of this, again, against a beaten up losing team trying to hold it together. The bad? Tua throwing softballs into the secondary again. I was waiting for a few to get picked off but thankfully, it never did. Missed tackles again, a bunch of them. I think Deebo is STILL running over our LB's and secondary. Another fantastic game by an opposing TE that we still can't cover - this just in, Kittle caught another pass for a 1st down. How we kept them out of the end zone was a testament to the shitty game plan Shanahan had against us. When they should have kept feeding Deebo and throwing it Kittle, they instead tried to throw some crazy in patterns and running with their 3rd string RB. Did I forget to mention that the 49ers were beaten up? All-in-all, could have been better. More dropped passes but Achane, the running game, and the OL did a great job against the 49er D-line. We kept doubling Bosa to keep him at bay, which was smart (I was shocked when I realized this was a continuous thing). We still had issues at OG but Eichenberg didn't lose it for us, altho Jones sure did his best to try, with key penalties in the wrong situations. But all-in-all, its a win and like Rolly said, probably saved McDaniel's job. But did it save Chris Grier's job?

You have a coach who has gotten more mileage out of Tua and his value to the team as well. I have a hard time watching this presenter simply because his updates are fine but his analysis is at the high school level. The staff member who needs to be fired in the GM. The one thing the Phins need is stability. The Steelers, The Ravens understand this and start to build culture with talent and the Phins need to take note of this. How many coaches since Shula? How many QBs since Marino? Lea ve McDaniels in place and find a better GM because you can say without a doubt, he has made some questionable moves and non moves. This franchise in all of its history has never won a Superbowl without a running game, a solid Defense and disciplined Head Coach. Also, players that, no matter the money they make, want to play FOOTBALL. The rules have made the game so pathetic at times I think I'm watching a circus. I think the money and pathetic penalties have turned off many players to playing full out.
