So lovely. Very elegant tag. Just a thought, if you stamp the star further up, you could have put the tree, star and sentiment dies on at the same time :)
Tag, you're it! I love this tag and the idea of making tags and placing them on a card front. You know what else I love? That you share your talent with all of your followers her on RUclips! Look forward to your next card sesh 👉

What a stunning tag! I love that embossing pattern. Tags are what keep me crafting through the busy holiday season. They are so quick to make, look great on gifts, and make wonderful gifts themselves! Absolutely love this one!
BEAUTIFUL! You’ve outdone yourself with this one. What next? Can’t wait…this tag is very impressive! I’ve been a fan for a while now and have enjoyed watching you grow on the card making side. I am a CZ-er!
I recycle last years cards into tags so this has given me same great ideas for making them a bit fancier. The only trouble with texture is you can't write on the tag 😉
you can just emboss one corner, or top and bottom corners, add a stamp in the middle, eg merry Xmas, that leaves just enough room on the back to write a message. Or you do a length ways double tag ( I downloaded a template,) emboss one end, then fold in half and glue the two sides together. I can put the link to the template if you like. I am new to embossing, racked my brain to work out how to do it.
LOVE it. I often have trouble with the CS distorting in shape if I cut it first before dry embossing, so I usually emboss first and cut out the tag or shape afterwards, but the one you did here looks perfect!!!
Love them!!! Cathy, can you create a Christmas card that is fast, pretty and impressive? The design would be for about 100 people and I would have 2 weeks to make all of them. Please think about it! Thank you!
@@czdesign Oh, my gosh! So honored you responded. Thank you. I am always in Simon Says Stamp jail when you post your makes. My pocketbook is just never big enough.! I love your card making tips and tutorials.
Cathy, could you please show how you would use bold brush marker to write on back? For some reason I can’t see how you’d be able to write on the texture.
You could always use these as ornaments, very pretty!
Great idea!!
That's so cool ! I have fallen in love with that embossing folder xo
The dry emboss made the tree and star pop.
Adorable tag, Cathy. I need that E.F.! 😘🇨🇦

I recycle last years cards into tags so this has given me same great ideas for making them a bit fancier. The only trouble with texture is you can't write on the tag 😉
Love that! But yes, you'd have to use a big chunky pen, like a brush marker. Or… just adhere a tiny tag on the back with the to and from!
you can just emboss one corner, or top and bottom corners, add a stamp in the middle, eg merry Xmas, that leaves just enough room on the back to write a message. Or you do a length ways double tag ( I downloaded a template,) emboss one end, then fold in half and glue the two sides together. I can put the link to the template if you like. @Helen Cosgrove would love to see the link if it's easy enough to find, thanks!
Love it! Such a great idea!
Thank you!! 😊
Beautiful Tag Cathy! Love the dry embossing. Makes the tree, actually the star on the tree, shine.
Btw..... I really love your new hair do! 😉
Thank you so much!

I think either way would work but I have noticed a little shape shifting in the post emboss look!
Beautiful!!!
Thank you!!
GORGEOUS!!!!!
Very cute
Thank you! 😊
Love this Cathy
Awesomeness!
Absolutely gorgeous!
Very pretty❣️
Thank you! 😊

Lovely! Would you write on the back before embossing?❤️🇦🇺
Yep. You totally could or… I would use a thick brush marker on the back.
Really beautiful. If embossing, I have to add another layer to the tag so I can write on the back.
Write or stamp "To" and "From" before embossing.
Or write on the tree !
How does the to: from: look on that embossing? Would you stamp it first? Thank you, very pretty!
I think I would have to do that, yes!
Love this tag. What sentiment is this from?
It's from a set linked below: • Holiday Silhouettes Stamps

Love the tag but how are you able to write on it for the To and From with the texture from the embossing?
Write or stamp "To" and "From" before embossing.
I would write with a thick brush marker on the back!
@@carollecian4655 Yes but you still have to add the names later on after the embossing if you are making tags to use later
I thought about writing on the tree !
Cathy, could you please show how you would use bold brush marker to write on back? For some reason I can’t see how you’d be able to write on the texture.
I’ve been so tired. Just no Umholz tonight
