I'm totally addicted to watching your videos xD It looks so fun!! So many little nooks and crannies of shops everywhere. Keep exploring for my fascination ;)
Love the Jongno district, it actually hasn't changed much at all since the late 80's as I remember it... unlike some of the other popular areas of the city which have changed a lot since.
Jongro is famous for specialized shops in Seoul, all custom made. There's Jong 1-ga, Jongro 2-ga and Jongro 3-g etc..each district specialized in something. Interesting, this bring some my old memory when I growing up near Jongro.
Hello Cory, as one of the early subscribers of your vlog, I feel like I somehow know you a bit :-) speaking of alleys and markets, are you aware of the fact that each market around dongdaemoon and jongno serves for different purposes and they are organically sectionalized? e.g. all things baking at bangsan market, printmaking at changshin area, etc. what's interesting is that these markets weren't strategically planned and divided into what is for now. rather, naturally and organically formed by themselves as small business shop owners for the same business categories gathered in and opened the business next to each other. Thanks for the interesting videos as always!
I'm planning to visit as soon as i marry my girlfriend , & we need someone to show us around & someone who understands the way korean community works . i would like if you welcomed us :) Cory .

The term that you were looking for in one certain shop was, "air conditioning", was this helpful?
