Vertigo 2 was written in Unity so this is another game that could get the fidelity boost it deserves if the developer wants to update his game?

Just got of Hellsweeper PSVR2 since the latest update, wow its so much better now. It has easy mode and just looks way better.
Foveated rendering really is magical its should be mandatory for all headsets going forward.
It will. It just takes time to reduce production costs. Maybe the Quest 4 will have it.
I'm glad they're delaying Madison for Foveated rendering. It's sooo necessary to include it in every game, makes such a large difference in looks / FPS I just feel incomplete playing a game without it :P

Gave up on PSVR2 sold mine…..quest 3 now 😬😎 much better.
It doesn't have dynamic foveated rendering, haptic rumble support, OLED, etc. So it can't have games that look as good as Hellsweeper n a Quest 3, No Man's Sky, etc. Sorry, but you sold the best headset and picked up a dud.
Are we supposed to be impressed? Quest 3 looks no where near as good as psvr2.

Im not sure whats happening at Sony right now. Some of their moves seem to suggest they are dropping VR, and others seem to suggest they have realised they need to put more effort into selling thing.
All they need to do is get their top 5 games from PSVR1, and port them over, and announce two new games. Astrobot rescue mission 2 and Spiderman VR.
Make a big marketing campaign for each of those releases, and VR will sell.
My top 5 PSVR games would be.
Blood and truth.
Squadrons
Astrobot
Farpoint
Wipeout
Maybe even get some PS move games like sports champions ported.
Sony did say last year they want to be a part of VR but it's not their core proposition, the PS5 is. So to all those who say the PSVR2 is dying or dead have got it completely wrong, PSVR2 is going nowhere and Sony are still going to support it for a good few years or for as long as there is an interest in VR which there obviously is.
@@PSVR2. but sony arent supporting it. Theyve done nothing since it launched.
People wont buy it without a reason to, then 3rd parties will slowly pull away.
The main selling point PSVR2 has over quest is processing power, but all we seem to be getting is Quest ports, so what reason do we have to chose a PSVR2 over a Quest.
Sony need to announce some big budget IPs to convince people.
@@SteveDavies80 Quest ports that were not really exclusive to Quest and besides they look so much better on the VR2, like I said Sony will still support it but not to the extent that Meta have and who have thrown everything at their headset which I may add is marketed for a different kind of VR consumer, you can't really compare, one is designed just for gaming and the other has more of a social aspect to it, this whole Quest v PSVR2 bullshit needs to stop its not healthy for VR.
@@PSVR2. I can compare, because as you say, one is designed for gaming, and the other one is a broader audience, yet has more gaming experiences.
You dont have to be defensive of PSVR2, I have both PSVRs and Quest 2 and 3,and love all of them, but I can be disappointed that Sony arent supporting it enough and not doing enough to encourage more developers to make games.
@@SteveDavies80 Has more gaming experiences but of poor quality and I will defend the PSVR2 because someone has to, no wonder it's not selling as much as it should when there is people like you going around criticising it and putting other people off buying it, since launch the media have slated it and all this negativity surrounding it has been disgraceful and I suspect Meta has had a lot to with it by paying RUclipsrs off to promote their headset and discredit Sonys. If you own both headsets then you'll know which has the better experience and would therfore support it and spread the word, but you seem to be just another troll jumping on the Meta bandwagon.
Hey Paul, great video and great news about the new possibilities with Unity. But dude, less of the spitting on the flat games 😂, especially if now we could be seeing more of them make the leap to VR down the line.
Looking forward to Metal Hellsinger, just hoping there's an upgrade path for flat owners as I already have it.

Nah there's plenty of flat games that look and play amazing on a lovely huge tv and sound system. More social too. Two different things completely. VR has it's place but it's more like a sideshow attraction. Don't want to be doing it all the time by any means. Apples and oranges.
