Teacher: Alright, everyone. Today we’re going to have a test on the periodic table. Person: Can we listen to music? Teacher: Yes. Me: *Listens to this*
Scott McGhee I’ve had a lot of teachers who allow us to listen to music while we test as long as it’s quiet, with earbuds, and the phone or iPod or whatever you are using to listen to music is out of sight so you can’t look up answers.
Me and a friend of mine sang this whole thing at a talent show in elementary school. I went through and memorized it all, and I vividly remember at the ending portion when the elements start getting said really quickly, the friend I had been doing it with just started making up elements that sounded real. It was amazing to witness.
+Ortun scientists can smash together particles and make these elements for an extremely small amount of time. like a few nanoseconds they exists but they are very unstable so it breaks apart.
Someone has probably already mentioned this, but there are over 25,000 comments here... The names of elements 113, 115, 117, and 118 have now been officially approved: 113 - Nihonium (in honor of Japan) 115 - Moscovium (in honor of the Moscow region) 117 - Tennessine (in honor of the state of Tennessee) 118 - Oganesson (in honor of the scientist Yuri Oganessian)
what grade? lol im trying to do the same thing and once in class i got so carried away that i literally started screaming the lyrics...and i got detention but it was so worth it (i memorized the song)
Hey friends! We wanted to update a few things in our video to be more accurate and appropriate for everyone. And why not try and memorize this song all over again?! Thanks for all your support through the years, and we hope to make more songs like this soon. Sincerely, Mitch and Greg of AsapSCIENCE
This got played in my science class the other day and I was singing along all the way... I got a round of applause at the end while I gasped for breath.
@@Googledoodle-k2u Unutrium dissolves faster than the USSR, Moscovium is an extremely radioactive element: its most stable known isotope, moscovium-290, has a half-life of only 0.65 seconds, scientists created tennessine by bombarding 22 milligrams of berkelium-249 atoms with calcium-48 atoms at a cyclotron. The first bombardment lasted 70 days, and Oganesson has the highest atomic number and highest atomic mass of all known elements as of 2024. On the periodic table of the elements it is a p-block element, a member of group 18 and the last member of period 7. Its only known isotope, oganesson-294, is highly radioactive, with a half-life of 0.7 ms and, as of 2020, only five atoms have been successfully produced. This has so far prevented any experimental studies of its chemistry. Because of relativistic effects, theoretical studies predict that it would be a solid at room temperature, and significantly reactive, unlike the other members of group 18 (the noble gases).
Ogganeson was named like that on like 2016, before that since the discoverment of it in 2005 it was known as ununoctium, the original song (this video) was Made in 2015 when it was named ununoctium, and one year later it was named ogganeson (thanks Yuri Oganesian the name of ununoctium sucks) (sorry if u already knew that)

Fun fact: Ununtrium, Ununpentium, Ununseptium And Ununoctium Used To Be An Periodic Table Element But Was Unused As It Was Unobtainable
Why?
