Hey Bill ... This was very cool and interesting. I am just a Podcast Consumer and general IT Guy, never had any ambition to produce something like this, but your Video gave me a lot of Ideas just for everyday Video-Conference use. Please keep up with these more technically orientated Stuff, you have a great talent when explaining complex setups that only comes with experience and years (no insult, I also rock a grey beard 😊)
Bill, thank you so much. Really loved this video. I couldn't believe how easy it was. Downloading for sure. But more importantly, thank you for your explanation and walk through. As a guy in my mid 30's who wanted to get involved in content creation and in particular podcasting I've had a lot of self doubt about if it's the 'young mans game' or if I have the skills to be able to make, produce and edit content but things like this, and the other videos on your channel. Really help with that. Thanks
I just started using riverside a week ago. I'm loving it so far. I'm Just getting into podcasting and happened upon riverside f.m I'm running rode procasters, a mackie pro12fx mixer, all xlr, usb going to my HP. Gotta get a capture card, but I'm running a Canon rebel T6, maybe someday I'll step up my camera.
Super informative you’re really going the extra miles with these videos! But that’s to be expected when you have such a high quality podcast! I hope you’re staying healthy man! 🙏
None of you guys mentioned lights. That's weird cause on top of a decent mic, cheaper camera bodies and lenses can be a useful first investment providing you have good lighting. Photography is after all capturing light...
Yeah. Recorded my screen using Ecamm live. And I’m having trouble getting that software to have everything in sync. I don’t have this issue in riverside though.

This is great. Yes, I agree Podcasting has never been easier, and this video is a great demonstration as to WHY? This is the case in 2024.

You're very welcome!
Great video and I love the format of everyone talking about their setups. Thank you for the information!

The problem with text based editing is the lack of control of over lapping audio.
You’re not wrong about that. But it hasn’t been a problem for me.

Great video! Love seeing how the product is made. Been curious for awhile how you did things 😄
Yeah I’d like to learn more about the media tab you mentioned
Great video🎉 I wondering if you have experience on multi Camara podcast video? I got a video mixer but wondering if would work with riverside?..
Video mixers do work with Riverside like the ATEM stuff. Because your computer just treats them like a capture card.
Question
Do all your guest have to have riverside and do all guest need to pay for a subscription
to join you video/audio show
No. Just me.
downloaded for later, off to work, letting play for algo, comment for algo

Yeah. Lights are super important. That’s on me. I forgot to ask them about their lights. These are the lights I use. ➡️ amzn.to/3PHgZqH
This was great
Thanks
Bill is your audio slightly out of sync?
Yeah. Recorded my screen using Ecamm live. And I’m having trouble getting that software to have everything in sync. I don’t have this issue in riverside though.
I really wanted to listen to this but the background music is unbearable
Sorry sounds fine to me.
