- Afternoon walk around Downtown Santa Monica starting from Santa Monica Pier Arch to Ocean Ave then to 3rd Street Promenade and ending it at Tongva Park.
Santa Monica is a coastal city west of downtown Los Angeles. Santa Monica Pier is home to the Pacific Park amusement park and Santa Monica Pier Aquarium. Next to the pier is Muscle Beach, an outdoor gym established in the 1930s.
Third Street Promenade is the shopping, dining and entertainment district in Downtown Santa Monica, California. This promenade is located 2 blocks from Santa Monica Pier / Beach.

Most people that live in the inner city would love to live here. But the rents are so high.
Santa Monica is a perfect place for walking -- the streets are vibrant, the sidewalks are covered with trees and plants, overall it's clean and people respect the place. Thanks for this video.

I stayed in Santa Monica for my 21st birthday back in 1978. I have been to Los Angeles four times. And to me, no visit to Los Angeles is complete without me stopping in Santa Monica.

Many tourists are shocked by the homeless encampments, horrible smell and trash. Just to give you a heads up of what you're really in for if you vacation there. It's not all pretty beaches and nice weather.

My now ex-husband and I spent six days and five nights in L.A. in 2003. We took one day to explore Santa Monica, and it was glorious! Loved every bit of it, especially the Third Street Promenade. Sad to see it look so dead now. When we went, it was PACKED!
It's looking more like 2019 or rather 2003 now, especially as restrictions have been lifted.

I am homesick,20years ago this was my home, thank you for walking 3erd street promenade I use to hang around there and go to the beach then party all nite, good all days now living in Europe never thought I would end up in Europe. Sad to see how many places are closed so quiet.

Returning to your ride, the shops you showed are great, good see the people using the commerce, taking care! Sometimes,we need buy something, but now only do it if really need or to help someone or if there are a date to have a important celebration !
The distance social and use mask is very important, don't touch the objects or surfaces if you are not going to use or buy them, avoid unnecessary manipulations, wash the hands or use alchohol 70 to have hygiene, when get out or when it is necessary, it was to remember the good actions to enjoy safer the places and to protection of health! Your shop are wonderful, Wind! I hope sucess for you!

I lived in Sta Monica in the 70's, ended up in Las Vegas from too much humidity to dry desert air. Enjoyed both climates, but took my allergies with me.
