What about the chrome around the windows? The bigger one at the bottom of the windows comes off easily by removing the T25 screws from the inside (you need to remove door panels). Then the thin strips around the edge and top of the windows. Not sure on those. That is what I was hoping to see. I think they are glued on. Thanks!

where are you located? I need this done to a 2017 Avalon that I just purchased and one of the pillars is lifted. was this 3m tape under the pieces that you removed?

hey there! sorry to hear about your pillar lifting :/ I'm from the Montreal area in Canada. I can for sure help you out if you're close! and I'm not sure what was under there, I think it was an adhesive they put on at the factory. hope it gets resolved for you soon though!
