I think that Fragile jobs net you more because you have more levels of it unlocked. Other than multi-trailer contracts, it seems like short hops with the most variety of modifiers (Fragile, Just in Time, Heavy, etc.) grants you the most XP. Perhaps you could look into unlocking the other 'types' of shipping contracts (Oversize, Perishable, and Hazardous) to see how many you can stack onto a single/multi-trailer contract. I can't remember what you did to unlock double trailers, (Heavy Load's maybe?) but perhaps maxing that out would allow you to get a triple trailer for an 'all in one' shipment (which could net you around 1200 XP if the XP system works the way I think it does).
Not sure if this is due to the sector or a bug, but I went to the job board in Dependency Loop. I saw two zero jump jobs each for about $1700. The first job I literally just moved one trailer to the neighboring bay. The second I at least had to cross the zone. Oddly this drop zone had a container already sitting in it. I managed to squeeze it in though. Most profitable jobs ever!
I wonder if they could enhance the salvage system by adding abandoned trailers which need to be delivered to Sour Candy's scrap yard. The mechanic would work by occasionally replacing a scrap beacon (near a designated roadway) with a damaged trailer. Hitch up to the trailer to claim it, and get XP (plus some cash) for running it to Sour Candy. Obviously, (re)abandoning the load would have a fine.
I mentioned something similar on a previous video, though I had the idea of it being for Moon Baby and her contacting you if you entered a system without a trailer.
I found high value long haul loads with oversized if you can find it make the most money and XP. I never do the just in time or perishable loads as they always get dinged for something and you lose on those more often than not. I’m up to level 25 now from mostly high value long haul alone. If you guys are lower level and haven’t unlocked anything yet do not neglect the 1 system jump loads that pay the most you can find I did those a lot to grind in the beginning and they helped a lot in the long run! If you don’t wreck and just drive slow and careful you’ll get extra bonuses on money and XP for trailer condition and safety too. Super easy since you’re only going through one system too. Just beware of those damn drones!!
Would give a thumb away if they had the color “Airstream”… a reflective exterior like the camper. Would be AWESOME to fly in that sexy thing. AND even the dents would look cool
To check and compare the various jobs, don't forget you have the "Sort by" button at the top right. You can quickly filter jobs with various characteristic (distance, payout, etc..). Check it out! ;) As for the junk flying out of nowhere and the hit box for the truck, I'm not sure if it's just me but I get hit soooo many time even when being careful.. One little bump and all bonus switchs to penalties. It's like dropping an item and it lose 3 hp and like 25% of it's value for basically nothing.. This kind of sensitivity would be the only thing I would try to refine about the game.
Have you let your fuel run down into the red? If you do, you will get to learn about the fuel canisters and fuel cap, in case you were wondering if they were useful for more than profit. I was rnning real low last night and just as I pullled into a station, the info got triggered. Glad I drifted through the stop zone, or I might have not learned it. Gonna go try it out now.
@@hugmuffinzz6559 I was salvaging stuff and found a gas can, so I used it to top off the tank. Next time you find one doing salvage, give it a try. It wasn't too difficult and now my tank is topped off. You may never buy fuel again...
@@gsturge agreed, was toting around 5 gas cans, because each can is 20 percent of the tanks capacity. While grabbing salvage, I noticed I was overweight before I should have been, was those 5 full gas cans. It would be nice if there was a gas can holder on the outside, sort of like how some trucks carry an extra gas can.
@@hugmuffinzz6559I’d suggest just keep doing what your doing, your vid’s are great love the star trucker content it got me into the game and following your channel
Also curious about the skills, and the suit. Does it multiply the suits longevity when you get multiples, or does it only count once? I went for max cab weight first. I'd say Atlas Prime is my favorite zone.
About the trailer on 99% trailer theres a possibility that when you turned it scraped against the other trailer maybe and i feel like streaming could,be a good idea although i may not be able to make it to your streams because of timezone differences
@hugmuffinzz6559 I also forgot to mention in the original comment is I find emerald Junction to be my idk why it just makes me feel relaxed when I there

Hmmm. I have never come across jobs like that! How odd. Glad you were able to complete them with no issues!

This is what I thought would happen after doing the initial reclamation missions.
This ain’t a bad idea tbh. I with you on this 👍

And IA from other trucks and stupids drones.. lol
for SURE!
I think XP is based on where you drop the cargo off. Try something in the solar reaches or the enigma zone? Maybe delivery location there?
Interesting. I hadn't considered that. I am going to make a note of that and try it out.
Hello, can you show the difference between driving/flying docking, and hooking up with the driver assiant on, and off?
I can try it out, sure!
I consider Atlas Prime my home!

I agree. Once I got the hang of it, I always top off. Otherwise those canisters are a big hit on your weight limit.

The very popular games tend to push the audience to more established YTubers through the algorithm.

As far as I know all of the perks stack up but to what extent I am not sure.
I to this day absolutely hate Medusa 6..
😂 What happened there?

Could be! I am still on the fence about whether to do it or not. I don't have the set up currently but I am looking into it.
