Yes you can start.. but I wont suggest that.. focus on other skills.. for example coding, communication.. you can give atmost 1 and half year to gate not more than tbaf
Hey hi, if you are willing to dedicate your whole 6 months to GATE preparation its possible to crack gate exam with good score. But if you have just thought of giving gate in the month of September and you have never given gate exam or prepare for it by yourself you will need some extra hardwork. Because i usually suggest people to complete there syllabus by end of October or atmost November so that they can focus on practicing qsns and revision more after that

Agar haan toh ek sal hi enough hota hai.. dedicated.. GATE koi IAS PCS jitna tough exam nahi hai.. naa hi itne depth m qsns puche jate hain.. aap kisi bhi ache ranker se puchenge jinko ek se jada saal laga hoga toh vo fir bhi yahi kahenge ki strategy bekar thi efficiently nahi pda.. I also took a drop but I still believe that if done properly you can clear it in one year.. this is not to misguide or anything.. just to give you confidence that its possible to clear it in one year..

I just meant that unlike JEE or UPSc where most of the students expect more that two years of preparation.. GATE is not that exam.. also for your case you are asking if one year drop again is worth.. I would say if you really dont have any other option.. and you want think you had done a good prep this time but due to external factors it all happened you can give it another chance.. but please look for option B as well.. As far as i am aware GATE can only be given by students who are doing a minimum 4 year course like Btech, or integrated MSC etc. its mentioned in their eligibility criteria, their duration of course should atleast be 4 years
Hey hi, from whichever branch you are giving GATE.. solving PyQs is the key., because there are qsns which are asked frequently. So solving those qsns will give you upper hand…

11th 12th maths is not required much.. basic to medium level calculus will be there for 5 to 8 marks

I am doing bsc cs ( 3years) so from which category i am eligible for gate exam like cse etc
As far as i am aware GATE can only be given by students who are doing a minimum 4 year course like Btech, or integrated MSC etc. its mentioned in their eligibility criteria, their duration of course should atleast be 4 years

Hey hi, from whichever branch you are giving GATE.. solving PyQs is the key., because there are qsns which are asked frequently. So solving those qsns will give you upper hand…

No you are not late.. people work till 25 to 30 as well and then prep for gate exam

Focus more on coding and internship.. there are a lot of opportunities for off campus placements now a days.. you should only consider preparing for gate after your 2 years in college.
@@Sneha_Negi does mentioning gate score in your CV increases your chances to get placed drastically or does it make no such big difference
@@silversallen6894 Amm I dont think.. if you are sitting for canpus placements people there will also be having good gate score.. so it doesn’t matter really.. but anyways in future when you give your resume to switch companies people do look for you AIRs

Yes leaving 2 or 3 is good if you are confident in remianing subjects depth knowldge is required not no of months or days

Yes yes gate score is valid for 3 years.. you can use it after you complete your btech

Nhi Bhai.... Engineering math easiest hai...baki discrete ache se analysis karke kr sakta hai ..use only go classes discrete math free lecture...

Yes yes.. IISc allow this but not all IITs allow this.. so kindly check websites of each IITs
