This is insignificant considering IP owners associated risks. Housing problems needs a strong n structural reforms and cutting red tape within the approval process and aids to housing. Political parties should stop blaming IP owners as they are part of the housing solution, government can only provide few thousand houses.

After watching the interview of Shadow Housing Minister Michael Sukkar on Sky News Australia who mentioned Vanguard and Blackstone as future owners of rental stock in Australia, the picture is crystal clear: Vanguard and Blackstone are huge corporations that do not need negative gearing. However, small property investors cannot survive without negative gearing. Therefore, abolishing negative gearing would remove all competition for Blackstone and Vanguard. Eventually, there would be only Vanguard and Blackstone rental stock. As a result there also would be a huge reduction in tax revenue because large international corporations evade paying tax.
Hope they look at, profit free organisations. So many companies making huge profit, paying high ceo wages and creating huge infrastructure and yet not paying any tax. Profit free organisations need to be run by unpaid volunteers and only have infrastructure thats government / donation funded.
