I went through two trials for one charge, getting a hung jury both times. A week before my third trial was going to start, I got called down for a professional visit, and the prosecutor offered me time served and to drop the felony to a misdemeanor. I signed it.

The one case I had with a codefendant we both pleas out with like a 6 month difference between our court dates because his Mom bailed him out plus got him a lawyer. We both got the exact same charge, exact same amount of time, and neither of us told on anyone but ourselves, (both of us pleading guilty).
Listen if thug is disapproving with what's going on and thinks everyone is snitching and comes out now and says that and then someone, or anyone goes after any one of these "snitches" even if thug had absolutely nothing to do with it , it will look like a hit coming from the top. Anyway you slice it that would hurt his case despite what is or is not provable.
