This is by far one of the best performances of this piece that I have heard Director Ignatius Wang is a wonderful conductor! So much to learn from him!

This piece is so epic. You can feel the pain suffered since the start of time of people being treated as unequal, specifically that in the United States, but it transcends boundaries as a universal message.

Marvelous performance! Really nuanced and emotional. Do they know the backstory? Interesting from halfway around the world from where the inspiration came from.

I played first Alto saxophone for this back in the summer of 2018 for Texas Tech band and orchestra camp, and it was one of the most fun experiences of my life.

    8:27 gives me goosebumps

You definitely do NOT want to rush the part there and more specifically 8:33. Far too many bands hurry it, such as in my recording of Rosa on my channel from 2014.

Beautiful rendition.... are there anymore orchestras like this performed by saf central band?

Far too many renditions are rushed, but this one really lets the emotions sit, slow enough for people to process and really feel the backstory.

I wanted to join saf.. but hmm saf doing nothing keep training all the way.. no real enemy :'(

Muhd Rahmatullah well we are a deterrent force that prevents any potential enemies. If you're thinking what's the point of trainings if we have no real enemies, you could always join the SPF or the SCDF to make yourself useful for attending to emergency situations where necessary, serving the nation with pride too

armed forces and still dare to play a song designed for subversive civil activism - very poor choice of music
