- New Year New Look! Hi everybody, welcome back to the Homeowners Series where today we do our civic duty rescuing a stranded motorist from a black ice encounter just outside the city limits. While my plans were to originally go around town and assist in clearing roads from the previous storm's snowfall, destiny had different plans for me. We have a lot of work to do so lets get to it!

I know the feeling my dad works for a towing company and he has had to deal with the fatality wrecks, it’s not fun.

My grandfather used to run a grader plowing for the local public works dept.
Another banger lad looks like our roads here and a whopping. -41 celsious wirh windchill we sitting at -51 sure makes for long days and nights

@WempleFarmsInc. yes Sir. Northern Alberta. Up in slave lake where we get those nasty wildfires every year around our place. This year going to be scary with the severe lack of snow.

It's not black ice, just ice.
I’ve know it as black ice aka invisible ice
“Black ice” is a thing, invisible slick ice way worse than just ice lol I encountered it in Kentucky, got a “watch out for black ice on roads” on my phone as well.
@@Martinez2106 If you fill an ice cube tray with rain water and freeze it what color is the ice? I just hate the expression because it's not true. that's all :)
