We just started ace paces this year, thinking that it would be less than Abeka. With Abeka my son only needed to do two pages and that was to much for him. With this curriculum he has to do 3 to 4 to be able to finish in 3 weeks. 😢 He moves so slow we can't fit all classes in a day. Only if we do school all day and im not doing that. Any suggestions?

My daughter is doing all 7 subjects of ACE - 3rd grade and this is our first year Homeschooling. My question is how are y'all finishing the Paces in 3 weeks? She's flying through the Bible ones (we do those together), but we do a 5 day work week and I had to split her schedule up: M-W-F: Math, W.B, English, Bible Tu-Thu: Bible, Science, S.S, Lit. We are doing 4 pages in each Pace a day. Are your kids doing 7 subjects a day?
We changed things up this year. My kids do 4 pages a day in each subject. Last year we did all subjects. We do school M-F. To finish a book in 3 weeks. You take the total number of pages in the book and divide it by 14 (15 school days in 3 weeks, but minus 1 day for the final test) that will tell you how many pages you need to do a day in that PACE to be able to finish in 3 weeks. I hope that makes sense. This year we are doing Math, Litature/Creative writing, WB, English as individual lessons and then we do something else for science and history together as a group since my kids are so close in age and it's working great! I'm so excited for you! I hope you have a wonderful year!!! We are loving our homeschool journey and so thankful I get to see my kids progress and learn new things!!
@@dimockfamily04 Thank you so much for replying and your advice ☺️ I am a single Mom and I have to work starting 3:30pm daily, so it already takes her 4 hours to get 4 pages of work done in 4 subjects a day... I can't imagine 7 🥹 I pulled my daughter out of public school this year as she was struggling badly in math & reading. She had an IEP in place that just started right before her 2nd grade yr ended. She tested positive for dyslexia but on the minor end. I feel 7 subjects for her is ALOT to do in one day. I want her to learn and digest the information not just get through the work just to get through it if that makes sense. I am about to put her in an outside tutoring source for math and reading. Idk, I just don't want her to get behind and I fail her as a mother with her education:(

You said your boys do10 paces a year. I thought they had 12 paces a year?
Sorry about that! ... I didn't realize I had said this. Yes we do 12 a year in each subject with ACE! ....
