Psalm 139 emphasises God’s intimate knowledge of us, His constant presence, and His intentional creation and care for each being. However, Psalm 139 conveys several key messages, that are:
1. God’s omniscience: God knows everything about us,
including our thoughts,words, and actions.
2. God’s omnipresence: God is everywhere, and there is no place we can go to escape His presence.
3. God’s Creative Power: God created us intricately and purposefully, knowing us even before we were born.
4. God’s Sovereign Plans: God’s thoughts and plans for us are precious and vast, beyond our comprehension.
