Thank you for this! I'm using Inertia in a RoR/Vue app, and I could not get the default layouts to work correctly. After seeing what you did in this video, applying the layout in a promise, I was able to do something similar to get the default layouts working correctly in Vue. It seems like a minor thing, but this is probably the highlight of my week.
Love these videos thanks Brandon, and appreciate all the work on the Inertia Rails gem! Is the demo repository from these videos available online somewhere? (I stalked your GH repositories list but couldn't see it). Cheers for putting together the screencasts and bringing Inertia to Rails!
Thanks Corey! I haven't posted a video in a few weeks so this comment is a good reminder to get back on track :) I don't currently have this code publicly available anywhere, but that's a good idea. I'll see if I have some time to push it up to Github this weekend and if so, I'll tweet it out.
