I still vividly remember when I did Philmont back in 2011. Best decision I ever made. I would love to go back and see those beautiful mountains again. Seeing the sunrise on the Tooth of Time and hiking back into Basecamp via Tooth Ridge.
I just got back from st Thomas sea base sailing adventure looking forward to Philmont next year to get 50 mile back packing patch got my 50 mile sailing patch
KDSG I brought with me 2 extra batteries and the GoPro dual battery charger, and to keep all the batteries and my phone charged I used the GoalZero Nomad 7 plus solar charger, however I bought it in the kit with the Venture 30 portable charger. I found this easiest because I could charge the portable during the day and charge my phone and batteries at night, so that they would be all fueled up for the day. Hope this helps.
