We have jumping worms in a condo complex in the South Loop of Chicago. It is a small area. Please give advice on eradication. Board members have been dousing small areas of 1 square foot at a time with water with mustard powder and picking out worms by hand. Likely source is the landscape company that do four season plant rotation. Help! Need advice on eradication methods for small areas.
Unfortunately, there are no control methods at this time. Anything to make your soil inhospitable to jumping worm would also affect soil biology including plant life. Soil solarization is a technique being looked at for small plots.
