Hi Sean its Noah . I loved the Robin photos and the Chaffinch. I feel bad for him . He's losing all his hair like yourself but you feel his pain lol😂😂🤣🤣
Good to see you got your your mirrorless like you said you would on past videos , I'll be watching future videos with interest to see if you experience any focus issues using the lens with the adapter, I've have read about issues online so it will be interesting how you get on.. I use the d7500 and same lens but I got the d500 about 3 weeks ago but not had the chance to use it yet , been to busy 😢. Great content Sean always a good watch atb joe 👍
Hi Sean, Congratulations with your new camera. I am pretty sure you’ll enjoy it for many years to come. I shoot with the Canon R7 and the Sigma 150-600 C but really like using the mirrorless. Keep the videos coming my friend. Take care from the USA.
IF YOU USE AN ADAPTER ON IT AND THROUGH AN OLD LENS THAT HAS VR DOES IT LOSE QUALITY? BECAUSE HER CURRENT LENS DOES NOT HAVE VR. I'M TALKING ABOUT 24-120.
Nice stuff. I'm currently using a D7500 with the Sigma 150-600mm contemporary lens. What made you go for the z6ii over the z7ii?. How is the lens performing with the mirrorless?. Can you still use the 1.4tc with the adaptor?.
my z6ii is gathering dust on a shelf and went back to the D850 and D500 as backup. Switch to mechanical shutter to avoid rolling shutter. Silent has a lag also.
Hi Sean, can you tell me what auto focus setting you were using. I have a Z7ii and 100-400mm. I’m not a wildlife shooter and I’m struggling to get sharp images. When I use the lens on a tripod and single point focus on a landscape handheld it is fine, but I’m struggling to ge5 sharp images of birds in my garden at 400mm. Thanks
Hi Sean, l have just got my hands on the Sigma 150-600 l use it with my D3300 and D 7500 ,never had such a large lens before, any tips on getting the best out of it please ?
I'm obviously not Sean, but I have the same setup as you. D3300 and Sigma 150-600. Practice is the main thing you should focus on. It was also my first big lens and after a while my pictures got a lot better.
So i'm thinking of keeping my D500 (200-500mm lens) for Wildlife PHOTOS (stills) and maybe OCCASIONAL video on a tripod. But i would trade my D810 for a mirrorless for dedicated VIDEO .... what are your suggestions ? Z6II or Sony A7III ... ?? Also, what adapter model would i need for my DSLR lenses to fit either one of the two mirrorless bodies ? Thanks !
Best of luck with the new camera.. did you run into any autofocus issues with the mirrorless as I spoke to you about before.. maybe it's just the mirrorless canons the sigma is not compatible with.. hope the combo works well for you.. another great vid btw..
@@kimpedersen I wouldn't say useless because it's a very capable camera. But if you really want eye detect for animals then only the Z9 has it or you'd have to move over to Sony.
@@dr.normanklack9111 no, useless was being a bit harsh :) I'm just sad that both Sony and Canon have excellent eye-tracking on "all" models these days and Nikon only have it on a body that costs the same as a 10 year old Audi :D I will wait and see what the next gen Z6/7 will bring - i've invested too much in Nikon lenses to switch and i dont work as a photographer so im not in a rush.
Nice video Sean! I also had a D7500 and recently upgraded to the Z6ii. The image quality is fantastic, but I really miss the no-blackout 8 frames a second of the D7500. I also think that the Autofocus system could be a little bit better. Let's hope they fix that with a firmware update.
It can’t be fixed , autofocus just isn’t that good , I own a z6ii as well and in some parts it really shines , autofocus is not one of those parts , it will not be fixed with firmware because the processors aren’t capable, think we have to wait for the version 3 or the z8 perhaps
Beautiful images Sean!
Excellent Photography. Enjoying Your Channel. Many thanks for sharing.

Thank you Joe, I know the feeling I had the came near 10 days before I could get out with it 🥺 no issues with the auto focus yet 👍
Thank you for sharing.
What kind of adapter did u use ( FTZ I OR FTZ II ?? and do you have all Focus options on your gear ? )

Auto-Area AF (Animals) only tracks dog and cat like animals on the Z6II.
Nice.

Hello Sean, nice setup and awesome photos. What is your overall experience with bird photography with 150-600 and Z6II specifically.
Nice stuff. I'm currently using a D7500 with the Sigma 150-600mm contemporary lens. What made you go for the z6ii over the z7ii?. How is the lens performing with the mirrorless?.

I have a Z6ii on its way. I'm really hoping it'll work with my old Sigma 50-500.
Hello Sean Mead, What tripod is this?
Stunning images Sean 👌 what F Stop are you shooting at?
my z6ii is gathering dust on a shelf and went back to the D850 and D500 as backup. Switch to mechanical shutter to avoid rolling shutter. Silent has a lag also.
I have just bought the same camera, can I ask what battery pack extension you bought and where from?
Is that Sigma contemporary? How is it going so far? Did you experience focus issues?
Hi Sean, can you tell me what auto focus setting you were using.

what gimbal head is that?
👍📷😎
Hi Sean great video there… how is the autofocus precision and hit rate for tracking on the z6ii?

Will you be keeping the D7500 Sean?
I don't know let, might keep it for a little while then sell it 👍
Can you share the tripod you used?
Lens ??
Beautilul photos. Do you miss the range?
Thank you, I did miss it. But when I got home th quality of the image was great I could crop 👍
I have a Z6II and am considering purchasing a Sigma 150-600. how could you record how this set is doing.
Great video and congrats on the new camera! - Is the AF-Animal still only for dogs and cats or have that been changed with a firmware update?
Unfortunately it's really only for dogs and cats.
@@dr.normanklack9111 Thanks for the reply :) so still useless basically.. lets hope they get a canon/sony-like AF in Z6/7 III
