Growing up I thought quick sand would be a much bigger issue than it is today. There is almost no quicksand in my apartment but I’m staying vigilant.
I grew up thinking.. "What do i do.. If i run into quicksand?... What if im alone??!!.." 😂 but now im 27 an i never even came close to any quicksand lol...
Yea your staging it as if it really happened though I find that funny.
The woman pulls a fake smile right before stepping into the quicksand,
her steps went from large to small steps just before going into the quicksand.
She is confirming its location by quickly looking at it at 00:06, and the
fact the camera man is conveniently setup right by the puddle.

Nah mate, that was just a small puddle with some water and loose sand
that happens when the tide subsides. They will be there a couple minutes
after the tide pulled back, once the water drained of its gone. It seemed to
be just sand and water, and released her foot very quickly. These things
spring up all around beaches when the tide falls, that does not make it
quicksand though.
For that it needs to be a mixture between water, fine sand and clay and it will
act like a none-Newtonian fluid, will most likely be a lot deeper then just 5 inches,
and has a much more firm grip then this puddle did.

Actual quicksand grip is just a firm as that mud and feels like you're stuck in a
block halve dried concrete. This is just a small puddle of some loose sand that
created some suction the moment you step on it, but it misses a crucial element.
The fact you will not sink much ( if any ) further in that puddle when wiggling.

That happens more than you think. That sand in the panhandle is very soft and not packed like it is on the Atlantic side of the state. And places where they have put in dredged sand is the worst.

@amit790 In order to put a warning sign about quicksand, the quicksand has to be discovered first, and she was the first to discover it, so NOW they can put a quicksand warning sign there now

My biggest fear as a kid was to be inadvertently swallowed by quick sand since I kept seeing it happen in my favorite cartoons!

It's a natural spring.
Used to be one close to where I live called The Bubbling Springs right on the beach before the dunes for years but it's gone now.
It was about 3 ft deep.
Speedos would fill up with sand if you went in it! LOL
