This shit is AMAZING. The best part: it runs in Q3A and not QL, so we have the full source code, so better netcode vs QL, higher frame cap. :)) The maps remake are astonishingly good quality, well done guys!
this has been a long running dream of mine.. it's so sweet to see the progress they've made!!!!! i still have my modded work but it's all for naught unless the engine code is edited for the extra bits necessary for qc. this is definitely impressive work!!!
I played like 60-70 matches during the few days the servers always had 3-4 people in them and I really hoped that it would continue that way but it didn't.. Hopefully it will come back

I don't understand why people don't choose quake live for their mods... All (workshop) assets and changes can be downloaded when you select the server....so a quake champions server could be hosted then on the first selection load everything in then never have to load it again unless things change... Not to mention you dont need all the Q3 fixes to make it look right on modern monitors...
Im not a big fan of turrets ,totems ,etc doing the killing for you ....or healing.... Whats the fun in that ? That could be fun in a role playing game . But in a shooter .... Big no for me . Ill stick to classic quake

The Dark Zone Map is one of "official" Xonotic maps. And Xonotic version looks way better.
Many things are "stolen", here and there.
I don't mind it, the community should share all the content to keep modding scene alive.
