Love it I been doing mine on the cooking sheet since the tray been out of stock where I live. I also notice that the spray paint does come up when you use transfer tape but what I been doing is I seal the paint with modge podge first instead of using the epoxy twice.
I love making these trays! You can order the trays online from dollar tree. I just ordered a few days ago and received today. Congratulations by the way 😊
Damn, I really like your idea of styling the whole set of your tools with a similar theme. It really makes me wanna somke every day if i have these. Very cool, love it👍👍🌿❤️🌈
I would suggest using a clear coat to seal the paint then putting on the decal and then putting. The epoxy over top the decal it takes more time but having the decal the way u have it is a faster method
CocoXpressiveDesigns well it all depends on how fast u want to do the plate tbh but I put two coats of spray paint clear coat and then put my decal on using transfer tape and nothing peels up for me but nice video ✊🏽 hustle inspires hustle
There's a product called CitriStrip sold at Home Depot, it removes epoxy from paint brushes (it takes forever, but it works! Some gal here on YT made a video about it, it's out here somewhere).
with the spray paint..could i use a sealing spray or something like mod podge... instead of resin ? i have resin but i don’t have a little work shop space so it’s really hard to do all that..
Nationwide shortage on those Dollar Tree serving trays now because everyone is home (because of the pandemic) making and selling rolling trays. The most likely cause for your paint peeling on the cookie pan was the lack of surface prep. For a metal surface like those with cookie pans - you'd have to scuff/rough the surface, apply to 2-3 coats of primer then you could apply the paint.
I literally watched this video and went to go buy baking trays bc yes and very sadly dollar tree does not have the trays we use for this :( I had considered baking trays but they seemed way too large, now that I just seen this video I guess its not that bad. I had just started my rolling tray hustle before they discontinued the other trays I was not just about to give up i even invested on plastic trays that I found online but ohmygoodnesss they came out to be atleast almost 5 bucks smh. baking trays it isssss! and they are bigger. Do you think you can make a video on making a tray using and printing a picture from google? Love your videos and your vibessss thank you!
That's exactly when I started & I've only gotten lucky to find the oval ones here & there & a few rectangle ones at goodwill lol! Ig I'll try the sheet as well.
hello, i just started using my cricut and im uploaded my picture already but im stuck because i dont want it to be on the white vinyl paper, i want the picture to be on gold vinyl paper. i get how to do it if i were using words i would just load the color vinyl into the cricut and itll get to work but i cant figure out how to get my image on colored vinyl. if anyone understands please help. i followed this tutorial step by step and so far everything is great, just ready to get my design on tray and apply 2nd coat of epoxy. thank you
As we don’t have the serving trays where I am (Australia) I have been experimenting with cookie trays also.would you say if you weren’t using a design that would have lifted the spray paint how you explained like transfer tape would have could you get away with just painting the tray, decorating it and then a finishing coat of epoxy?
CocoXpressiveDesigns yes kinda I stirred for awhile and it started to get stiff I thought it was curing so I poured it on the tray and started smoothing
@@Itsqueendom I've not experienced this either. Did you use two equal parts of each (A&B)? After I mix the epoxy for a few minutes I pour it on and tilt the tray from side to side until the middle of the tray is covered. I use my finger to do the sides to refrain from that happening. Hope this helps
I think they took the trays off the shelves because they were affiliated with a lottttt of rolling tray videos. 😕 But you can order them online from their website on back order. Takes about a month and comes with an assortment of rectangle and oval trays. So you could get a few boxes just to stay stocked up. Hope that helps🙏🏾
I love this video 🔥🔥 can you show how you complete the lighter and ashtray? Are you just placing the vinyl on the lighter or do you seal with epoxy as well?
😔 when I can get the bubbles under control I can really start moving and making money. Im not sure if its the spray paint or resin. Next time I'll try to use a hair dryer. When pouring the epoxy on and smoothing with my finger and gloves, I dont see any bubbles but when it dries there are bubbles. It frustrating me 😣.
@@annettabrown8892 thanks for replying but I'm just gonna use the americana high gloss. Seems like a good resin alternative. No mixing just pour, spread and no bubbles.
I’m having so much trouble getting my epoxy not to run and streak like crazy with this huge craters. I really need help. I bought the epoxy kit from amazon. www.amazon.com/dp/B07TVWTG82/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_api_i_CvqgFb I’m mixing exact for each part. I’ve tried rubbing, brushing, and a heat gun but they still won’t come out even close to being neat and level. You can buy the smaller trays online. You just have to buy 24 of the round and 24 of the rectangle.www.dollartree.com/nickel-plated-metal-serving-trays/191199
If you sand the tray before spraying it, that will help with lifting an you can also use 91% rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle an it will pop bubbles.
Sounds great. Thanks
Great job. Love the font. Cookie sheets are treated so that food don't stick to them. Easy clean up. You conquered the problem. TFS
Thank you 😊
Love it

Dollar Tree also have those silicone brushes they work well when he tries you just peel the epoxy right off... ❤🖤💚✊🏿👑 great video peace and blessings

That's really freaking cute!!! You did an awesome job. I wanna make one now! ❤️ I love it!
I like the tray with black in gold. Have you ever put handles on the ray?. Lisa
How do you get your design and wording onto the plastic paper?
Love this! Do you think you can add acrylic spray vs epoxy to prevent the paint peeling?
This is 5 months late but I just did this with a rolling tray and it didn’t have the same affect as the video
We’re can I get like the pictures n stuff to put on the pan if u dnt mind me asking

Great creations -expensive looking🙏🏽👏🏽❤️👍🏽💙
Deborah Williams thank you lots.
What font is this? It’s super nice
This is better than a tray honestly!!
Why do u say that?
How did you epoxy the ash tray
Can u do a tutorial on how you do the designs and and the printing out, etc?
I need to try this out , good job.

The nickel plated tray is available on dollar tree website
I see on back order but some people just want to learn or make a couple and not order a full case

Would I be able to put photos instead of letters?
Have you ever come across a warped cookie sheet? How would you fix that?
Once u put the epoxy on it and it dries mine is still kinda sticky, how can I make it smooth
Did you add another coat of epoxy after you applied the decal?
Yes
How much do you charge for rolling tray sets?
Can I use Triple Thick to seal the trays and the ashtrays?
I just watched your DIY of your Dallas Cowboys weed tray and glass. I want to know would you make me a set with my favorite teams or favorite colors?

Question so do you put the epoxy on the jar as well?
Whats a good silhouette to use?
This is beautiful! What font did you use for this?
What do you mix the epoxy with..????
You don’t mix with anything. You just mix together like i show in video
