Captivating portraits of Native Americans from the last century. Animated photos

In the early 1900s, Seattle photographer Edward S. Curtis embarked on a specific epic project. He traveled to the western United States and documented the lives of Native Americans. The photographer traveled to those regions where people were completely unfamiliar with the Western world.
Curtis was funded by JP Morgan and with their help visited more than 80 tribes over 20 years, taking more than 40,000 photographs and many journal entries. In his diaries, the photographer talked about his impressions, the traditions of the tribes he visited, and about everything interesting that happened to him during his travels.
The main value of such photographs is that they show the life and way of life of Native Americans, while these photographs depict the Indians in their original form. Thanks to these ancient photographs, we know how the Indians lived hundreds of years ago.
