Incredible perseverance after 6 hours of nothing going right. Also gotta say, your pitching and flipping skills (especially that soft entry) are second to none.
Love it! The honking noise threw me off! Then I realized you were bleeping out some choice words for your predicament! Just goes to show how fast it can all turn around! Very proud! Great job!
New sub here. Dang fine job! Amazing perseverance and I commend you. I’ve fished Caddo Lake for years and absolutely love it, but certainly feel your pain on the underwater stumps. Got hung on one in an 18’ glass boat. Wasn’t fun… Anyway, looking forward to watching your next tournament, and glad to see you sportin a Titan X too 👍
Wow what a way to stay and grinded out till the end that was a tough start sometimes our loved ones is all we need to kick start our day! Caddo lake that body of water have alligators if it fires you a stronger man than most men most people!! lol awesome job sir some of the greatest kayak anglers you were competing with today that’s an accomplishment in itself! Tight lines take care and God bless!
Nice comeback! You cannot win them all. That said, you put together a limit in an extraordinary late bite window. Way to keep focusing on each and every cast and holding that concentration until 1:00pm and beyond. That was really impressive to me!❤️
I fish this lake most weekends and it can be the best fishing a man could hope for one day and the hardest fishing of your life the next but what never changes is the Beauty of Caddo Lake!
I had this exact ting happen last week, an underwater branch through a scupper hole under my crate. I was in 10 feet of water and fought for 12 minutes before I got loose. Broke my transducer mount during all the action.
Good stuff buddy. I launched at the same ramp and fished the same waters both days. Day one I didn't fish clean and only got 4 in the kayak. My day 2 was better but still didn't break 90 and culled 5 times lol. In practice I caught an 18 and 21 off that group of old dock post you got stuck on. Nothing on either tourney days. Caddo is awesome.
I hate that same thing happen to me with a stump. I got hung up and couldn't get it off with just a trolling motor or paddling. The only difference is I was in 24 ft of water. I rock it back and forth until it finally came a loose.
@@kbbt-kayakbassbrackettour4333 no other way to do. I didn’t want to try it with the life jacket on and honestly if I would have had better standings I would have called the TD.

Thank you! It was definitely a tournament that tested every part of me.

Way to grind it out! It’s not about how we start. It’s always about how we finish, good job, brother.
Thank you !

I was real fortunate that I was in the depth of water that I was and it wasn't winter time. Panic mode might of set in

Thank you! I might of messed the bite up in that spot on day 2 lol! That was the 1st time being at the lake and I absolutely loved it

Yeah that would of been a whole different situation for sure! I'm glad I was no deeper and it wasn't winter time.

Bro not to be a jerk or anything, you just DQ’d yourself by taking your lifevest off and entering the water
