I measured the head speed: At 70% throttle it is 6250 rpm. I decided to go down to 55% for low rpm flying. Now I have 3 speeds: 55% = 4750 rpm, 62% = 5500 rpm, 70% = 6250 rpm. More does not make any sense for me hence I do not fly any 3D. With 4750 rpm it sounds like a ventilator, very low noise. Feels pretty locked in, rock solid and easy flying. I tamed down collective pitch to 10 degrees max. On 3G mode I reduced cyclic pitch to 50%. The difference to 6G feels much more comfortable on switching for me. With OpenTX it is possible to fine tune this all as prefered: Simply use the 6G/3G switch for additional weight settings of cyclic movement in the mixer menu. Your normal dual rate settings you can do in the stick menu. So you can have both settings together. At 4750 rpm I have 8 minutes flight time at 3.7 volt discharge. Very happy with effectiveness of that direct drive.
You bet - Thanks for watching Jin! We've found that to be the largest hurdle for most newer RC pilots, and even some more experienced alike...so we try to make sure to do it for every aircraft we review ;)
I do the same thing on my S2200, press down when I want up and vice vera. I really feel up and down should be switched, from left to right: [Back] [Up] [Down] [Enter].
Thanks Brian, i like the looks of the E180, and purchased it from your video! have to say banggood is not buyer friendly. QC forgot the battery cover for the transmitter. those folks are more worried about the packaging than sending me a simple battery cover. still waiting for the cover. after many messages and pictures sent of the package, box, and components.
Ryker or Brian, I'm definitely going to buy this heli (thanks Brian) but will definitely want to run it on my DX6. The remote receivers are a simple as plugging in to the port in the helicopter and finding a place to velcro it down? Obviously the Horizon guys aren't going to give me a lot of advice about an Eachine. I'm really just trying to figure out what receiver/satellite to order. Thanks!
Thanks Brian... now your favourite subject, batteries.... I read that the supplied usb charger isn't very good for a balanced charge, also I have ordered the 4 battery option, so I have now got the HTRC B3.AC charger, cheap but good feedback, also a Cell meter7 capacity checker.... any good in your experience but obviously I'm not competing with your astonishing array of chargers, checkers, leads, adapters... I thought I had a lot... ha-ha. Cheers
Hey.. Briiiaan. (in the voice you say that in 😂) The battery has a little tray. Small clip on the outside towards the back of the tray. A lot easier to change batteries 👍🏻
Hi Brian ... In addition to really enjoying the helimodelling, and demonstrating it on video, the woman who accompanies and films it, thrills as much as you do! And your wife? A lot of your videos ... Explanations and excitement !!! I'm sorry for the English !!! \,,/
Megan, my wife, is the camera crew ;) She is along for the ride, and does wonderful camera work. As you probably already know, it's a lot harder than it looks...but she makes it look easy (dealing with me - LOL)
Awesome video keep up the good work Brian..... I happen to have the E180 and I came across another video and that said the clear rings are main rotor shims if that helps out anyone... Peace Love & RC
Sweet video brian, i wonder how this compares to the blade 150 performance wise....maybe ill grab one and wring it out...excited to try that direct drive motor
@@BrianPhillipsRC speaking of pucker Factor 😂 ..... The other day I installed one of those new AR631 receivers into one of my old planes that just needed a receiver to get flying..... well during the maiden and out a little ways, everything was super I'm up about 200 ft and I'm on my way back I start to notice that I have no control like aileron elevator rudder nothing is working and I can't hear the motor all of a sudden I start seeing the plane doing a left hand circle and slight down pitch attitude nothing crazy but it started to pick up speed after 3 or 4 circles, I'm thinking to myself what the heck is going on? this is a new receiver, did really just lose signal?... . so this thing is literally starting to dive bomb towards Earth. and right at the last oh I'd say 40 ft control came back and I flicked full flaps on so quick and gunned throttle to about half to get a little balloon action at higher speed (darn near broke the flaps switch on the nx6😂) man I just got out of that one literally the plane started to pitch up just in time I was like 5 ft from the ground.... I did end up landing it about a hundred feet down not the prettiest landing but everything was intact 😉...... I went inside and changed my shorts 😂 because boy I will tell you I damn near had a turtle head sticking out 😂😂 anyways I learned that with the AR631 you definitely have to orientate the antenna a certain way, for instance I just got the new t28 the yellow model and if you check out the antenna in that model it goes up and then back down there fuselage and just the tip of the antenna is the important part according to spektrum ..... .anyways rerouted my antenna so far no problems 😁😁
Gday Brian well looks like I'll be buying myself a new heli I'm still flying my each one 160 but I'm definitely interested in the direct drive system . However the reason for me contacting you is because I need to do a foam repair now I'm waiting on Tower Hobbies still to get back to me so I haven't got C.A yet.. can I use hot glue to repair foam ( I imagine as long as it's not too hot ) I've seen you use the tooth picks so I'm guessing hot glue and tooth picks should be able to repair my damage but if it's gonna damage my foam I would rather wait till I get some C.A... I'm loving flying I fell I'm picking it up very quickly however my depth perception is letting me down . I've been up a tree and now I crashed flat out into the big net they have behind the sport goals .. it looked very bad but I've put the jigsaw puzzle back together just holding with tape Im waiting to hear from you before I attempt hot glue .. thanks mate
Yes, but it's heavy. You have to be careful that you don't get it on TOO HOT...or it'll melt away from each side... Sometimes hot glue is okay for bigger parts, and then a bit more flexible to hold up to some rough landings... This is supposed to be like MUCILAGE, but I haven't used it myself...maybe you can get it locally? - amzn.to/3faHuDs
Hey Brian and Camera Crew! 🤩🌈 I have a problem a bit like you were struggling with: In Dual Rates, mine came from the factory 50%/100%. I had to reset my expo and curves because I’m a bit scared too! BUT when it came to Dual Rates (1,2 & 4) I could only change channel 1. It simply won’t allow me to jump to 2 and 4, no matter how many times I bashed the Mode button lol. Did you work it out in the end?? (Ps For your viewers, the right stick is pitch & roll. With helis, called the Cyclic. The left stick which changes blade pitch as you spin up is called the Collective. Also, quick tip for the 4 main channels is A.E.T.R. 1 aileron, 2 elevator, 3 throttle, 4 rudder. Throttle (3) isn’t included in set up for expo or dual rates, so don’t worry when you only see 1, 2, 4. 👍🏻) I’m still pissed about my Dual Rates. I can’t change 2 and 4, so just changing 1 would be disastrous - please help! 🚁
@@BrianPhillipsRC Hahahah! 🤣 No my friend - trust me, I don’t! I’ve never gone inverted for a start. I’ve learnt SO much from you. I think it’s a case of teamwork. We all learn from each other, that’s the beauty of your channel & the comments. I’ve learnt by trial and crashing 😆 as well as you guys 👍🏻 And to quote you “I am not an expert heli pilot” All this and I still can’t adjust my Dual Rates on the E6 transmitter, how about you?? 🚁
Thanks for hearing that Scott ;) I've crashed WAY too many heli's on maiden, and I was being SUPER careful NOT to crash this beauty. I might actually do a second thoughts where I install a Spektrum DSMX Rx so I can setup this heli on the NX8...and then maybe I could be a bit more comfortable with this thing of beauty.
Tons, but you'll have to get me in the right direction ;) If you're just looking around, a good way, is to scroll through the PLAYLISTS on our channel, and then you can see if the items that catch your eye are good for what you want, and then ask away! Thanks Collin
Dude what you have always said about threadlock and props must be true. My tail rotor on my omp m2 just shattered into pieces. No crash no impact just slung apart and it appears threadlock was used on the screws from the factory. Luckily I wasnt off the ground yet when it broke and the heli went nuts. Sheesh.
Lucky is right!!! Glad you saved it!!! P.S. I'm not the only one who says it ;) It's a pretty common thing, but a lot of RC guys don't realize it (YET - LOL) ;)
The clear washer thingys are to distribute the clamping force on the carbon fiber it goes under the screw head. I left that thing off mine, because of the excact problems you had, and mines very stable. I like this better than the omp m2, except the landing gear.
Gday Brian it's me again . I think you misunderstood me when I said that the arrows on my hulk motor suggest the motor should be spinning in the opposite direction to what it actually spins. I see also the 180 is the same . It must just be there logo . My motor was not spinning in the wrong direction I hope I've explained myself . Sorry for the confusion .
There's something pretty interesting about this helicopter to me..I have all the omp helicopters but ..I have yet to fly a heli that will out perform my 130x blade ..but I got $800 bucks in that old 130x .that's just upgrades over the years and whole different set up ..I love my micros and I think this one is next on the list to purchase for me ...just wish it was torc tube tail
@@BrianPhillipsRC my omp m2 scares me some too ..it almost flys too aggressive but you can tune it down on the flight board and I have my spectrum satilite plugged in it for my dx6e. ..it's a little heavy and I haven't quite been able to do all the 3d moves I can do with my blade 150 ..but that's not the helicopter ,it just flys so Indifferent than what I use too
Have to agree with you. I have a fleet of 5 130x helis that are regularly rotated in my flight sessions. Love their performance, especially with metal parts and out runner motor.
Whatsup man, I just got my e180 today I usually build and fly freestyle drones but this is my first heli, anyway im having issues setting up curves and switches on my radiomaster tx16s I updated my radio to Edge tx recently so that must have changed a few things in the radio as my settings aren't making a change to the heli do you have any knowledge around the radiomaster tx16s? Keep up the good work man much respect from Ireland
Brain, You are the "Jack Black of RC" !!!!! And you got the Camera crew involved more!! Question for you .... Is there any 250 / 400 size helicopters that have the flying charateristics like the eachine 129 ?? Thanks for such honest videos!
Thanks Ben! As for the 250/400 Size Helicopters, I can't say that I know. I don't fancy myself an sort of heli "expert", so not even sure about what all is available. Sorry about this Ben!
Gday I Brian I noticed the arrows on that motor are opposite to the direction it spins remember it's the same on the 160. What do you think that's about ?
Hi Brian, thinking of getting one of these, but would like to bind it to and fly it with my dx6e radio. If I heard you right, you said a micro serial receiver would go into the DSMX input on the flybarless unit. I have a SPM9645, would that do the job?
RC Helicopter E 180 I've finally managed to get this heli in the UK, very difficult, I have had to buy the heli and the Radio controller separately, the only way to get it. (Banggood couldn't send it to to the UK for various reasons) I have the same controller that comes with the Heli normally however I do not know what the default settings are for the controller.... can you help. Thanks Malcolm
I can not. Sorry. I'm not well enough versed in what setting does what....BUT if I cover it in the video, those areas you could copy. I'm sorry...if I had a better idea, I would help...but I just don't know.
Technically they're ALWAYS balancing (All the time)...but if you want to do it "by the book", then you will need a gen2 charger, or to update the firmware on one of the Gen1 Chargers - you can even update the firmware on the El Cheapo "included with RTF" chargers too ;) Here's a link to my video - ruclips.net/video/Sa0NvW6mfbk/видео.html I show HOW to do it.
Gday Brian how are you. I had a disaster flying my eachine 160 the tail come loose and my heli ripped its self apart. I'm devistated. I been waiting on props for my 520 but they haven't come they have been out of stock for weeks now I'm so frustrated. Yeah it's defiantly time for a new heli looks like the 180 it's gonna be. But to be honest I'm more into the planes now than the helis if I had to choose I would choose a plane but it's good to have a heli for flying when I can't fly a plane. But yeah watch out your tail boom doesn't compress at the end like mine did Nd then it just worked its way out 😒
So did you really have difficulty with keeping it under control? I mean I do not want a heli to do tricks but I just really want a larger heavy heli that I can control with my limited ability. Thanks
The Heli doesn't have GPS, so no... However, the flight controller is very good. We were filming in STRONG find...maybe 10-20mph with 25mph gusts...and it was confused (All directions)
@@BrianPhillipsRC Bind it to your spektrum radio, need a satellite. Do flat throttle curves (has a built in governor) normal mode 60 Idle 1 75 idle 2 90 flight times will be longer in normal mode!

I have the e129 and I fly dji mavic 2 pro. I know it is not the same as a helicopter with collective pitch it will be more responsive then I am use to, but having the stick coordination should count for something. Got to start some where. Thank you for the reply.
Samsung Galaxy S9 on my cell phone. We've always used our cell phones for filming our content. We also after tons, and TONS of complaints, started using lav mics... Lav Mics amzn.to/3gdgXlX ...and they work well about 95% of the time.
That was me asking about the motor the problem on having is getting to the motor or receiver because it's the plane that snaps together it's all one piece and I can't get to it. But I didn't know if you had the same problem or if it was just a fluke and I bought one and thought I was going to be able to actually learn to fly finally and I get something that is wired wrong so it's just laying around now. And I've tried to contact the company they won't even acknowledge me.
Ryan - Did you buy it from Banggood? If so, you gotta contact them from "My Orders" to generate a reply. I talk to thousands of people a week like this, so I can't keep everything straight...so don't take this the wrong way, but I don't remember our exact interaction about a reversed motor, or I might be mis-remembering.

if you like this heli, its a cheaper built version of the OMP hobby M2 and M2 explorer. when OMP hobby came out with this design. everyone started building their version of it. such as the 180 in your video. as well as the mikado logo 200. i love my omp explorer. the only difference between the m2 and the m2 explorer besides $80 is, explorer has plastic parts. where the m2 has metal servo cases, blade grips, swash plate etc. so exact same heli, just ones plastic (explorer ver) and ones metal. also on the omp helis. you can adjust speed, agile, and gyro on the flybarless controller to further tame it down. can set pitch and center servos for swash plate leveling through the FBL as well.
I bought E180, but the default setting is mode 2. So I want to change the mode from 2 to 1. I am right handed that is why need to change it. Please let me help How I can change the mode from 2 to 1.
You can change it. You need to open the tx and assemble the spring for neutral and the stick brake on the outer side. In software menu you can switch from mode 2 to mode 1. Press both buttons on the left at the same time to enter that menu.
Great review and good explained setup. I had a very entertaining time with this video. Also you fly better heli then most normal people. 3D is ugly to watch. I prefer scale flying too.
Do you know of any Spektrum setup info anywhere for this e180 for the bnf version. Eachine says its dsmx expandable with sat receiver but I cant find any setup guides. I want to get one if I can use my nx8 with it.
Dang :( Did you see the coupon code I included??? (Top of the comments) I know Banggood is not your favorite, and for some good reasons, but this heli is so cool!!!
I purchased it from banggood and I found multi quality issues: Screws at rotor head were not loctited and there was not any grease on trust bearings. Bearing ring in trust bearing was installed 180 deg rotated so that the balls rotate on the outside. As a result feathering shaft is too short. Torque of the screws was so high that they damaged the ball bearings at the assembly. There is a binding in the bearings at brand new heli. What a scrap! Main topic was that one of the screws in feathering shaft did not have any thread lock as well. This can be very dangerous if you loose main blade at 8000 rpm! Double check this! Do not trust the Chinese at these ready to fly helicopters!! Need attention and maintenance because it is not a micro helicopter like xk k110 anymore.
Agreed! These Heli's are getting huge, and powerful...but at the end of the day, I guess it's going to be up to us, to make sure they're actually RTF...even though we shouldn't have to do it.
Nice I have to tell you it rocks but like you I’m not a 3D guy I’m only brave in the simulator I’m scared because if you crash the Hely it will be game over more than a plane I know because I have a friend that flies big hely 😃😱

I did that about 16 years ago...I had one heli a long time ago, call the Blade CP1, if I'm remembering right. All I could do was basically hover her with the tail pointed at me...and crash - LOL. I never did get very good.
I liked this style flying. I really dont enjoy watching the 3D heli flying. I know it takes a lot of skill and I respect that... But I despise watching it.
Thanks! I think it's amazing to see, from time to time, but it SCARES ME. I've seen it in person, and I was practically hiding behind stuff!!!! I will work hard for a long time before I can confidently fly this heli to a level where I can showcase it's true strength, but for now, this is what I can show. It is feature packed, and very well done, but I'm not a good enough pilot.
Thanks ;) I need to try to use it to trim a weird spot in my yard, behind the garage. I HATE trimming it, and that would be soooo sweet to kill two birds with one stone!!! GREAT IDEA!

Thanks 👍 I still need to get better with Heli's! I want to be able to showcase the WHOLE capability of these creatures for you all!!!
Thanks for the walk-through on the transmitter menus
You're welcome! Thanks for watching!!!
Sweet!
How did you turn down the RPM?

Seems like a competitor of the OMPHOBBY M2 V2. Both the E180 and M2 V2 could use DSMX Remote Receiver (SPM9745 or SPM9746).
Yep, but Banggood sells them both - OMP M2 V2 bit.ly/2PezTJ0 ;)
Ryker or Brian, I'm definitely going to buy this heli (thanks Brian) but will definitely want to run it on my DX6. The remote receivers are a simple as plugging in to the port in the helicopter and finding a place to velcro it down? Obviously the Horizon guys aren't going to give me a lot of advice about an Eachine. I'm really just trying to figure out what receiver/satellite to order. Thanks!
Would a Spektrum SPM9645 remote receiver connected to the flybarless unit enable me to bind to my dx6e?
@@robindavies7144 Yes.
I thought I had a lot... ha-ha. Cheers
Thanks!
I have the OMPHOBBY M2 Explorer it almost looks just like it the difference is the canopy
We'll do that one at some point too ;)
Hey.. Briiiaan. (in the voice you say that in 😂)
The battery has a little tray. Small clip on the outside towards the back of the tray. A lot easier to change batteries 👍🏻
Thanks for the tip - I had another comment suggesting this, and I DID MISS it... so Thanks for the pointer ;)
Thanks Rome!
Brian also you should fly in idle up until you get comfortable with it. Once you get comfortable with it that's when you can start flipping it🚁
Yeah, true!
Good video Brian explaining the Eachine E180, have you looked into the OMP Hobby M1 and M2 models yet?
Thanks! I'm aware of the OMP Hobby M1 and M2, but haven't reviewed them yet ;)
Sweet video brian, i wonder how this compares to the blade 150 performance wise....maybe ill grab one and wring it out...excited to try that direct drive motor
I haven't yet, but maybe I should ;) Thanks Mike - this heli is super powerful!!! It can get away from ME so quick it has serious pucker factor!!!
Very cool, thank you guys.
Our pleasure!
Button on side to pull out the battery tray
AWESOME! I can't believe I missed that - Thanks!
I’m still pissed about my Dual Rates. I can’t change 2 and 4, so just changing 1 would be disastrous - please help! 🚁
Sounds like you probably know better than me, so sorry!!!
I didn't know that this was going to be a spelling class! LOL very good videos. Keep up the great work.
Thanks, will do!
Hay Brian, you tried to attach a power monitor. Did you ever try attaching it to the under belly?
no, I didn't
I’d have to pinch 🤏 stick this thing!
It seems really reactive, good idea adding expo👍
I think Expo was very helpful, indeed! Thanks for watching Steve ;)
@ 5:00 in I was like "holy crap that's a lot of batteries"
There are a few in there ;)
'Man when I crash this it's gonna be horrible' lol. Great vid.
@@BrianPhillipsRC I fly the Omp m2v2 which is basically the same helicopter.. I think the same every time get it out of the box lol.
I see full video.l like your heli remote explaine 🤩🤩
Thanks!
Do you have and ideas for a next Rc plane for me??? Your the man Brian!!!
Tons, but you'll have to get me in the right direction ;)
If you're just looking around, a good way, is to scroll through the PLAYLISTS on our channel, and then you can see if the items that catch your eye are good for what you want, and then ask away!
Just bought one, never flown one before although I fly drones EVO 2, so wish me luck..... :-)
Good luck!
nice video close to 100k!!
So close! We're excited! Thanks for being a part of it ;)
Gday Brian it's me again .
Sure! I agree too, btw :)
Nice video brian
Thanks 👍 I'm always a bit reluctant to do actual HIGH performance heli's, since they are SCARY CAPABLE, and I'm NOT ;)
Hi how are you doing, I got my eachine e180 helicopter today and I got the same as you it is a mean machine I just love it 🥳🥳🥳😄😄
Totally! It's Scary Capable, but I want to do some tricks. Maybe I'll play with RF9.5 for a bit and see how fast I crash a hlei in there???? ;)
Did you find out the release mechanism for the battery plate?:)
If I shared it, we found it...but I can't remember all the details of this heli - sorry!
Great stuff Brian
Thanks 👍
There's something pretty interesting about this helicopter to me..I have all the omp helicopters but ..I have yet to fly a heli that will out perform my 130x blade ..but I got $800 bucks in that old 130x .that's just upgrades over the years and whole different set up ..I love my micros and I think this one is next on the list to purchase for me ...just wish it was torc tube tail
This heli scares me a bit ;)
@@BrianPhillipsRC my omp m2 scares me some too ..it almost flys too aggressive but you can tune it down on the flight board and I have my spectrum satilite plugged in it for my dx6e. ..it's a little heavy and I haven't quite been able to do all the 3d moves I can do with my blade 150 ..but that's not the helicopter ,it just flys so Indifferent than what I use too
@@jakelang4387 as3x works well. If you have the ability it performs very smoothly as long as you're precise with collective control.
Have to agree with you. I have a fleet of 5 130x helis that are regularly rotated in my flight sessions. Love their performance, especially with metal parts and out runner motor.
Oh boy I might Try this new addiction

Yeah be careful it's very powerful helicopter direct drive
Yeah, it's super strong!
I'm sorry, but I don't have the radiomaster.
@@BrianPhillipsRC I got back to open tx, edge tx can take a walk! Thanks for you're reply tho man, much appreciated 🙏
Sure!
Those clear spacers are for the main blades when installing them
I SEE! Thanks ;)
I painted them with an edding pen to make it visible. Otherwise you would loose it for sure.
Hi Brian, thinking of getting one of these, but would like to bind it to and fly it with my dx6e radio. If I heard you right, you said a micro serial receiver would go into the DSMX input on the flybarless unit. I have a SPM9645, would that do the job?
I THINK so. I want to say YES, but since I haven't done it myself, I'd feel bad telling you wrong.
RC Helicopter E 180
I've finally managed to get this heli in the UK, very difficult, I have had to buy the heli and the Radio controller separately, the only way to get it.
Unrelated to this video, but I just got myself a gen2 pack and I was wondering if I would be able to balance charge it without a gen2 charger
You'll need to update your S150, S1200, S1500, etc. with the Gen2 firmware update to balance charge the Gen2 SMART packs
Technically they're ALWAYS balancing (All the time)...but if you want to do it "by the book", then you will need a gen2 charger, or to update the firmware on one of the Gen1 Chargers - you can even update the firmware on the El Cheapo "included with RTF" chargers too ;)
Here's a link to my video - ruclips.net/video/Sa0NvW6mfbk/видео.html
I show HOW to do it.
Yep Robert
Great video
Thanks! I wish I was better at Heli's ;)
P.S. I deleted a duplicate of this comment, FYI...didn't want you to think I was upset...I'm not ;)
Gday Brian how are you. But yeah watch out your tail boom doesn't compress at the end like mine did Nd then it just worked its way out 😒
I'm with you - PLANES ;)
Sorry to hear you had that happen...what a BUMMER...been there done that, and it's no fun. Sorry Stewart
So did you really have difficulty with keeping it under control? I mean I do not want a heli to do tricks but I just really want a larger heavy heli that I can control with my limited ability. Thanks
It was more that it COULD go like 300 feet in a second, with the flick of a switch....I was nervous, and trying to respect the power! :)
Brian have you ever tried the flying crane?
That sounds super cool. You mean like a Sikorsky helicopter? We would love to look in to it more and review it. But no, we have not.
Brian don't mess with the ganes it's Flying good
I can't disagree that it's flying great, but I'm not as capable as this heli, so I want to make it less intense ;)
Very similar to the OMP Hobby M2
Sure, but Banggood sells both ;)

What about a review on WLtoy V913 heli
Might be a cool idea, doing a bigger heli. I'll look into it. Thanks Donald!
Before I order this, can you tell me if this has GPS hold like our drones have so it well hover on one place?
It does not have GPS.
The Heli doesn't have GPS, so no... However, the flight controller is very good. We were filming in STRONG find...maybe 10-20mph with 25mph gusts...and it was confused (All directions)
DrCsuzi - yes
In normal mode on my DX9 I get 8 minutes of flight time on my OMP hobby M1 in Idle up 2 I get 3 minutes!

Helicopters are cool
That was me asking about the motor the problem on having is getting to the motor or receiver because it's the plane that snaps together it's all one piece and I can't get to it. But I didn't know if you had the same problem or if it was just a fluke and I bought one and thought I was going to be able to actually learn to fly finally and I get something that is wired wrong so it's just laying around now. And I've tried to contact the company they won't even acknowledge me.
Ryan, why are you making this comment within another comment???
Yes they are cool!!!

Super bro
Thanks! Glad you're here with us!
if you like this heli, its a cheaper built version of the OMP hobby M2 and M2 explorer. when OMP hobby came out with this design. everyone started building their version of it. such as the 180 in your video. as well as the mikado logo 200. i love my omp explorer. the only difference between the m2 and the m2 explorer besides $80 is, explorer has plastic parts. where the m2 has metal servo cases, blade grips, swash plate etc. so exact same heli, just ones plastic (explorer ver) and ones metal. also on the omp helis. you can adjust speed, agile, and gyro on the flybarless controller to further tame it down. can set pitch and center servos for swash plate leveling through the FBL as well.
Nice, we'll do the M2 at some point too.
I bought E180, but the default setting is mode 2. So I want to change the mode from 2 to 1. I am right handed that is why need to change it. Please let me help How I can change the mode from 2 to 1.
I don't know how to do it, but my understanding is there may be a way to do it. I'm sorry!
Thank so much for the kind words ;) I still think I should be working on it, 3D "ugly" flying - LOL ;)
how can i charge if i dont have this devices you have? with a normal smartphone usb charger?
Yes, the USB charger will work.
No, charger from smartfone doesn't work. Included charger doesn't balance well. Check out the nice ISDT chargers, e.g. Q 6 lite

I know Banggood is not your favorite, and for some good reasons, but this heli is so cool!!!
very nice from BOAZ
👍👍👍
Thanks!
For sure! I have a buddy who flies these things and his blades are like 6 feet, and it is absolutely TERRIFYING!!! He is VERY, VERY GOOD!

I'm interested... My wife might kill me if I get another heli though! 😂
LOL - Don't die over it...order it and keep it at the office - LOL ;)
@@BrianPhillipsRC 😂 I think the goblin put her over the edge... 😂
By all accounts the eachine 180 is alright, but the OMPhobby M2 is generally considered better!
I will have to do that one too, I guess. Maybe it's easier to fly for Baby-RC, Brian Phillip ??? ;)
Flash deal on it for a buck 290 at the moment.
Yep, and coupon codes on the top of the comment section, fyi ;) Thanks
do you get this stuff sent to you for free
Most anymore, but didn't for many years...
dont use the junk charger. over charges the lipo.
I think you might be right about that!
If u want to be a good heli pilot start out by just practicing hovering. Iv spent weeks practicing heli on the sim and still cant do 3d lol
I did that about 16 years ago...I had one heli a long time ago, call the Blade CP1, if I'm remembering right. All I could do was basically hover her with the tail pointed at me...and crash - LOL. I never did get very good.
Brian I set my timers for 4 and 1/2 minutes no longer
I'll keep that time in mind for when I use a DSMX Sat Rx in there ;) Then I'll have access to a countdown timer!
Oh understood RIP
ok
I liked this style flying. I really dont enjoy watching the 3D heli flying. I know it takes a lot of skill and I respect that... But I despise watching it.
Thanks! I think it's amazing to see, from time to time, but it SCARES ME. I've seen it in person, and I was practically hiding behind stuff!!!!
I will work hard for a long time before I can confidently fly this heli to a level where I can showcase it's true strength, but for now, this is what I can show. It is feature packed, and very well done, but I'm not a good enough pilot.
It might be amazing and it is that pilots can do that, but I agree this isn’t the Blue Thunder.. Fly them normally for us rookies most especially.
Brian the name is yu chain
I have the f180 yu xian yu chain
Lahv this guy... question is -state? Yea that thing sounds like a weedwacker haha
Thanks ;) I need to try to use it to trim a weird spot in my yard, behind the garage. I HATE trimming it, and that would be soooo sweet to kill two birds with one stone!!! GREAT IDEA!
I told my wife she should take one for the team, I ended up sleeping in the garage for two nights, some women just don't have a sense of humor....
LOL - Dog House for you - LOL!!!
Bro your vids are way to long. Like them but over a hour. Is bit much
Some are like over 5 hours - LOL - I get it, but a lot of our audience likes it?!?!?!
Don't mean to put you off, but you don't have to watch it all, if you don't want.
Either way, we're glad you're here with us, but if it's too much, just leave the videos on for the dog or cat to watch while you're at work ;)
