- Beating the Act 3 bosses in Dragon Age 2(and a horde of Templars and mages) with my new Reaver/Berserker Trilogy Build, The Deathbringer!
After getting the Bloom axe, Act 3 turned into a complete joke with this extremely overpowered warrior.
You can't imagine how satisfying it was back in days when my full-cun build rogue dealt nature damage for the first time with five digit numbers to arcane horror. Ahh those days
The resistance and immunities in this game are insane (and sometimes confusing). But when you know which elemental weakness they have, you're gonna have a huge edge against the enemies.
Yup! They can be super annoying. However, once you actually know the weakness of the enemies, fights turn into slaughter.
@@AKisHerceg Iirc, Cold and Nature are the best ones to have.
Can’t wait for this trilogy build!! Keep up the great work!
The first time i was able to beat dragon age 2 on nightmare was with 2 hand warrior. All other classes i would get owned but 2 hand warrior was a cakewalk!
I usually give that axe to Fenris and watch him chop up the enemy single-handedly lol.
Circle Mage: "Run! We'll handle this."
Hawke: "You and what army?"
Later that day,
Meredith: "I have a two handed sword that makes me jump like a Power Ranger, the dwarf charged a great deal for his prize."
Hawke: "Bloom go brrr"
Your videos always inspire me to play better and also I started to learn video editing after watching your videos. Thank you🤗
Cant wait for the build!
Your videos are great I miss Dragon Age I wish they could make a remaster of both games on modern console.
Always a good day when a video of yours drops! Potentially stupid question, but do the two-handed weapon abilities do friendly fire when they're using their AI but not under your control (like with Fenris during the the Harvester fight)
They do FF no matter what. The only difference is the reach. With Giant's Reach they are more dangerous. I did not pick up Giant's Reach(+1m reach) for him, so I was far enough not to get hit by his Mighty Blow. I did hit a few friendly with my owns skills though, since I picked the skill up for myself.
@@AKisHerceg That just makes Cullen's conversations about his stand against Meredith funnier though! "No, I did not get immediately knocked out by the Champion's backswing, whatever Varric is telling you"
Man I love melee builds that focus on speed, they are the best!
Do you find that pure Str is better than Str/Will? I thought that with patch 1.1 they nerfed berserkers so that why would have to invest more in Willpower than Strength.
I barely invested into WP. I tried boosting it and the build was just not as good. I prefer lots of STR with a bit of WP. Maybe on a pure Zerker it would be better, to go for WP. Here however, my main damage comes from the Reaver tree and the Vanguard tree. I literally only use the Berserker to have access to the Barrage skill which makes my speed go through the roof with the Reaver passive and Haste.
Ok. I watched this like two time and have a feeling that it gonna end up like Bull speed build but with some diffrences in DAI still cannot wait to see with what you gonna come up with. Specially what axe you gonna choose.
Or you choosing the axe of the dragon hunter again ???
Besides that my question is - templar build you gonna use 2h or S&S??? I'm analysing the templar tree in DA2 and thinking -
What is the best synergy with?
Cause you already created the divine avenger in DAI and its awsome.
Edit - sorry for the autocorrect
Not sure about the Templar yet. Yup going for the Dragonhunter axe. :) The build has some resemblance to the Bullspeed but not that much. I’m going for a cc approach not a single target one.
@@AKisHerceg oh that sounds much better because that is what should a 2h warrior focus on since rogue a single target killers.
2h warriors should be mob killers.
Question
How do you play dragon age 2 on nightmare. Asife from using cross class combo, and knowing which element?
I’m gonna try to be brief: The main goal in this combat system is that you have to out dps your enemies. That is it. If they have more dps than you, you lose. This can get very difficult on Nightmare where enemies have immunities, additional health, healing etc. Starting to even the odds with combos and proper weapons/elements is a pretty good idea. Other than than, increasing attack speed is also important. Increasing defense for rogues is mandatory and warriors should get as much armor as possible. Mages can have a bit of both. Threat management is very important with lots of characters. Enemies should always concentrate on your tank, instead of your damagers or cc characters. These are the main objectives when playing DA2.
hello is everything fine? About this build, I saw that it was cool to play with sword and shield, do you think it is still a viable build today?
If you were watching older videos about it, then no. Most of the insaneness of this class has been patched up. But as you can see, you can definitely have some fun with it, even today. It can kick some serious butt.
Yeah, things are better now thanks for asking! :) I will return to making videos soon!
Just wondering what’s your favourite class to play in each game?
Two Handed warrior - Champion to be specific. Since there is no Champion in DA2, I would pick the Reaver/Berserker there, but keep the two-handed weapon. :)
👍
So now that there saying the leaks are true how do you feel about a hack a slash dragon 🐉 age 4
If true, then I’m skeptical. I love some h&s but I would not like DA to turn into one completely. I would prefer if they would return to their roots with some improvements from the later episodes. DA is unique, especially in this day and age. Why do something that is extremely common instead of keeping it special. Bioware always liked to follow the trends and copy other successful games ever since they were bought by EA. This shows in DA2 and even in ME2, ME3 and definitely Inquisition. All of them took a pretty massive step away from their predecessors to please a wider audience.
