I'm annoyed about image 3 - saying the spyglass item should be visible in the hand should have been the correct answer because you cannot expect them to figure out how you have achieved the effect that is breaking the game's rules, simply what is wrong with the image and in this scenario that's the only thing that isn't possible in vanilla, shouldn't have been necessary to specify the zoom.
Not seeing the spyglass is in fact possible - if the screenshot is taken just as you're switching items. But then the name of the newly selected item should be visible.
That doesn't specify what's actually wrong, which is that he's zoomed in without using the spyglass, which can only be done with a 3rd party mod like optifine.
Technically the one with the trial spawner could be achieved in vanilla by the player manually build a dungeon-looking structure around the trial spawner
Why wasn't that it? Wouldn't a renamed block have its name italicized? I was under the impression that these images had to be possible in survival (that was the standard for the previous video, and he didn't say otherwise and also said that it's the same rules as the previous video).

Bro you can literally build an old dungeon around a trial spawner and lure some spiders in. I noticed the spawner instantly, but thought it was a red herring. (11minutes in ish)
Im so pissed. "Oh the eye of ender is wrong, no the eye of ender is right. The ender portal frame is wrong, that's right." I wanted to scream right there and then.
The list of rules in the description should include the fact that the screenshots have to be from survival. Also, the eye is part of the frame block once it's placed. It's the same block. The eye isn't a separate entity once it's placed in. They identified the correct block and the fact that it was rotated wrong.
Some issues I came across with this video while watching it: Picture 3: This one is just straight up scummy. OptiFine allows multiple settings that change mechanics in Minecraft, such as fast math, which changes parkour a lot. This means your world is no longer vanilla and instead modded. Not only that, but using a technicality like that is just scummy. By the way, you can definitely obtain an image like that in vanilla. To remove your hand from visibility, you could either: Sit in a boat, swap slots, swap offhand slots, and a lot of other methods. Also... why is the enderman near the crosshair angry? Picture 4: You can absolutely transform a trial chamber to make it look like a spawner. For the last picture, what he said was absolutely correct. Talking about some technicality where the "ender eye is correctly oriented" is straight up bs. This video was just really scummy.
You must have nothing to do if you typed this up over a little game with no reward for winning. Overreacting much??? Btw, he literally showed you how to obtain suspicious gravel.
21:10 gonna make a guess right now that it's not the ender EYE that's facing the wrong way, it's the end portal frame block that's facing the wrong way.
@@rydergolde3169 I think it's fair since they only stated that the eye was the wrong way, and he wanted them to pay attention to not just the eye texture but also the texture on the portal frame. Rotating the eye and rotating the frame would be 2 different ways of changing it, so it makes sense that he'd want them to say the correct one imo. The biggest clue to me was the way he specified that the EYE was correctly oriented, even though it wouldn't be if the portal frame was correctly placed. So it had to be the frame that was oriented wrong. And when I looked more closely at the textures that fit since the textures on the portal frame were also facing the wrong way along with the eye.
@@oMuStiiA it really isn't fair tbh, "that eye can't be there and face that way, this image is impossible" is the correct answer. frame becomes irrelevant because they pointed out something impossible in vanilla minecraft
@mr.phantom674 but they pointed out the wrong thing. The eye was in the correct orientation in the frame, it was the frame that was incorrectly oriented. When he said specifically "the *eye* is not in the wrong orientation" the next question they should ask is "then how would it be facing that way?" The answer to that being that the frame itself was oriented wrong. The eye being oriented wrong and the frame being oriented wrong would involve two different changes due to them acting as one entity, one would involve a change to the texture of the block, and the other a change to the direction of the block. Saying that just the eye is facing the wrong way isn't the correct answer. The point of the game is to challenge their knowledge of the game and their observation skills, he has no obligation to accept the wrong answer just because it's close. If I can realize what answer he's looking for based on looking at the texture on the frame, despite not being as knowledgeable about the game as these guys, then they can figure out the correct answer too. There's no reason to treat their answers with kid gloves here.
@@oMuStiiA i would agree if we were only looking at the one portal frame, but we're not. the frame of reference is the entire image, so the eye is oriented incorrectly to how it should be in the game. pointing that out is 100% the correct answer, regardless of why it's that way.
I would wager the last image is technically correct. If you use glitches (usually involving version hopping to 1.12 or beta versions), you can obtain end portal frames. Using a bedrock breaker, you could break one of the frames around a lit portal, obtain an illegal end portal frame item, and then place it in the wrong direction in the spawner. This would be possible without version hopping if the screenshot did not include several 1.21 items.
this video was so much worse than the first one ngl the optifine one especially made me not really care to guess the rest cause its literally classified as a mod, its not vanilla minecraft that and all the other ones were so incredibly easy
Omg- that’s the whole point of the GAME! To guess what’s wrong with the image! Because all the images are in vanilla Minecraft, the the optimise zoom is so out of place! Just like with the end stone stair..chow do you expect him to get that? He would’ve got that through a mod
I agree with the others critiquing optifine. Sure, it doesnt mess with loottables or world generstion, but the moment a mod is used in the game, it is no longer vanilla, and therefore it is cheating
the last image point is debatable, earlier versions would allow you to place eyes sideways and not in line with the frame itself, and therefore wouldn't light the portal
I knew immediately the end portal was facing the wrong way and am annoyed that saying the eye wasn't facing the right way didn't count since it can't face that way without the frame being cheated in and placed that way
For The 4th Image there was actually a possible 2nd answer, as you can't get the 'wither' effect from cave spiders, they give the 'poison' effect [edit: oh wait, he could've placed a wither rose at his feet and it would be out of frame, nvm, just ignore the whole comment ig]
@@itznjplayz4757 its not that he wouldnt do that its the fact that its possible to do, so that image is recreatable with all the rules he has in the description

Fourth image is totally could be done. You'd just have to dig down the whole trial chamber and than build the spawner box by hand around the trial spawner and bring a pair if spiders there
You should make it so that a picture has a million red herrings but there is nothing in the picture that isn't possible in vanilla minecraft; watch your friends spend a long time trying to guess the correct answer when there is no answer, or just hide something very small in the distance and wait for your friends to find it
8:40 I play bedrock and do remember that you could hide your hand silhouette and then turn down FOV to get a very similar outcome so yes this image is entirely vanilla( at least in bedrock)
So your saying that your using a “non vanilla client” to edit the end image to make it so a copper spyglass in not visible in your hand and you have incredible zoom? The rules have say, vanilla this and vanilla that but you’re not even going by your own rules and rigging the images to try and win yourself.
@@Fifasher2Kbut if thats the case, the image is correct, because the modification is within the rules, meaning nothing is wrong because its part of the game

I really love the idea of this series and hope it keeps going. One thing you could do is themed videos, where all images have something in common. You could make a challenge where every image is from the a different update (1.0 - 1.20), you tell your players what update it is and the impossible thing is something that wasn't possible or didn't exist in that update. Red Herrings could of course be things that were possible back then, but aren't anymore. Another idea might be a Bedrock video, where every image is from Bedrock and you showcase the differences between the two games. The optifine one feel cheap ngl. Please don’t use the same “trick” in the next one. Also for the trial spawned one, what prevents the player from building a spawner-looking room around a naturally spawned in trial spawner?
I'm not entirely sure, but based on some research, I think that the last picture _is_ possible in vanilla survival minecraft, though maybe only in bedrock, but I'm unsure if the rules specify java or not. If a stronghold spawns next to another, and the portals are close enough to each other, it is theoretically possible for it to do that, and you would just have to get rid of the rest of the extra portal using a mushroom.

@@steel7307 t h a n k y o u
@@steel7307 You are an idiot.
Ender Eyes follow the direction of the portal frames, so it absolutely was orientated the right way, PERIOD.
@@steel7307 when you don't say anything about the frame, don't complain when he also doesn't say anything about the frame. the eye is technically oriented correctly because they place in relation to the frame. the frame is what was wrong there, he physically had to break and replace the FRAME to make the image wrong. the eye itself has nothing to do with it, it's the frame that matters because that's the source of the incorrectness
The eye one should totally count, the eye is wrong because the frame is wrong. They're 1 entity.
Image 4 - you can't get wither from cave spiders, and there is no apparent way you could have gotten it from looking at the image.
Some issues I came across with this video while watching it:
Picture 3: This one is just straight up scummy.
@PlayfulDoggy Giving criticism is nowhere near overreacting. My fault for the suspicious gravel one, wiki had said otherwise.
"Who cares, if this is still fun"
@@Fifasher2K but it's not much fun when someone is cheating is it?
the world is still vanilla. the client is just different.
The eye IS facing the wrong way, it faces the same way as the frame, and the frame is facing the wrong way.
21:10 gonna make a guess right now that it's not the ender EYE that's facing the wrong way, it's the end portal frame block that's facing the wrong way.
YES that's exactly what I'm thinking too (currently at the part where he gives a hint)
I watch Um, Actually and even *that* feels too pedantic for me
@@rydergolde3169 I think it's fair since they only stated that the eye was the wrong way, and he wanted them to pay attention to not just the eye texture but also the texture on the portal frame.
As far as I'm aware, optifine minimally affects worldgen so, technically, it wasn't a vanilla world.
WAIT, MINING EFFICIENCY EXISTS?!
7:58 i genuely got scared when i saw that fake enderman on the screen, idk why but it just made my heart skip a beat
technically the end dimension one could be achieved on bedrock by cranking up your FOV and going into video settings and hiding the hand
this video was so much worse than the first one ngl
the optifine one especially made me not really care to guess the rest cause its literally classified as a mod, its not vanilla minecraft
that and all the other ones were so incredibly easy
Omg- that’s the whole point of the GAME! To guess what’s wrong with the image! Because all the images are in vanilla Minecraft, the the optimise zoom is so out of place! Just like with the end stone stair..chow do you expect him to get that? He would’ve got that through a mod
Roses are red, I don’t mean to be coarse, how the fuck is he on a Zombie Horse?
You can ride those in minecraft

But the dungeon could have been artificially built around the trial spawner!
I agree with the others critiquing optifine. Sure, it doesnt mess with loottables or world generstion, but the moment a mod is used in the game, it is no longer vanilla, and therefore it is cheating
I was waiting for another one
the last image point is debatable, earlier versions would allow you to place eyes sideways and not in line with the frame itself, and therefore wouldn't light the portal
For the spawned one, you could’ve just built a cobblestone box around a trial spawner so technically it could’ve been real
I knew immediately the end portal was facing the wrong way and am annoyed that saying the eye wasn't facing the right way didn't count since it can't face that way without the frame being cheated in and placed that way
Wtf i literally just watched the first part 40 minutes ago W luck
i watched it yesterday lol

3:10 I thought the (above the honeycomb) was missing it’s arms the entire time T-T
For The 4th Image there was actually a possible 2nd answer, as you can't get the 'wither' effect from cave spiders, they give the 'poison' effect [edit: oh wait, he could've placed a wither rose at his feet and it would be out of frame, nvm, just ignore the whole comment ig]
How is it fair to say the world and texturepack is vanilla but not tell them you are using mods?
He could have mined out an area around a trial spawner than built a spawner room and lures 2 spiders inside
bro he aint doing all that
@@itznjplayz4757 its not that he wouldnt do that its the fact that its possible to do, so that image is recreatable with all the rules he has in the description
The eye of ender one should have counted. The eye of ender IS incorrect BECAUSE the frame block is incorrect. He correctly identified what was wrong with the image. He gets the point.
Getting wording right is not part of the challenge. Identifying what's wrong with the image is the challenge.
9:50 optifine actually changes stuff which makes it banned in speedruns.
15:30
according to the rules shown in the video, you could use commands to give that pig the health boost effect with the particle effects turned off which means it's also another screenshot possible in *vanilla minecraft*
10:44, this screenshot isn't impossible, just build around it.
how is image 4 not possible in vanilla?? you could have just built the cobblestone around the trial spawner and brought in some spiders
You should do image #1 again, but make the mini player model not looking in the direction of the cursor. (They do that in the inventory, it'd be hella subtle and i doubt they'd get it quickly.)
for the enderbro one you could have low FOV and punch at the perfect time to not see your hand or hav invis and f5 with particles off in settings
3 and 4 are just completely cheating/wrong
Yeah 4 is possible to just build. Also he could have used creative mode to make it
No 3 is correct, he added zoom that is not possible in vanilla, how he added it shouldn’t matter, wtf are you talking about. 4 is actually wrong tho, I agree.

Great vid tho, I loved how quickly the answers were found after that diabolical end screenshot from last video.
you could've just built all that around the trial spawner

"no?"
An idea you could do is stare at a rabbit nametagged Toast, but it has the wrong texture
(If you rename a rabbit Toast it gets a unique texture)
Yeah honestly I agree with the other commenters. You can’t call the screenshots vanilla if you used an addon or alternate client, I.e. OptiFine.
Roses are red, he’s not wearing a wig, why on earth is his head so big?
Head on the head.
22:18 the eye of ender rotates based on the portal frame so he answered correctly

So your saying that your using a “non vanilla client” to edit the end image to make it so a copper spyglass in not visible in your hand and you have incredible zoom? The rules have say, vanilla this and vanilla that but you’re not even going by your own rules and rigging the images to try and win yourself.
"I said the vanilla world, not the vanilla client. So rules aren't broken."
@@Fifasher2Kbut if thats the case, the image is correct, because the modification is within the rules, meaning nothing is wrong because its part of the game
does it really matter? he could’ve edited it using photo editing software, the point of the video is that the screenshot is impossible in vanilla, this zoom is impossible in vanilla, why are you all complaining
@@rostcraftthe zoom is possible, either by lowering the FOV or using the frame after you stop using the spyglass, where it’s still zoomed in, but the regular hud reappears while the hand is offscreen.
They pointed out the zoom and the missing spyglass, they just didn’t specifically say it was optifine zoom, which is a third party program.

Player: "You can't get 2 Dragon eggs", You: "Nope, you can in Bedrock, that's just a Red Herring".

I'm not entirely sure, but based on some research, I think that the last picture _is_ possible in vanilla survival minecraft, though maybe only in bedrock, but I'm unsure if the rules specify java or not. If a stronghold spawns next to another, and the portals are close enough to each other, it is theoretically possible for it to do that, and you would just have to get rid of the rest of the extra portal using a mushroom.
then the portal wouldnt be filled
@myrech I'm fairly certain that if it also generated with all of the eyes, that it would be full, even if another structure were in the way.
